maybe sounds like a heat shield rattling when it happens the second time in your clip. i usually want to blame skid plates for noises, but even aluminum plates would sound a big bangier than that

digging up this old thread - @mattusmc what do the solo's look like on the driver side? the brake lines seem to be directly in the way of where the flat stock pieces go. I assume you use the smaller ones on the driver side. I'm preparing some prep for portals and UCA double shear is on my list.

I daily mine but i have a few other vehicles. If they ship at the end of June as Turn's website states, I'll install them in July. although it also says estimating 15 days to ship. I'll bring yall along for the install and test ride

frame horn reinforcements are a drop in the bucket!

in brian's photo there's nothing retaining the cable, it is just the length if you will that is presumed to keep it away from contact with anything. Excellent inspection point when changing the rear diff fluid.

I have about a year, and maybe 4,000 miles on mine. I don't really have on the rod where it meets the wipe, but there is a little on the OD of the body just below. should not be internal leakage, road grime, your own tire schmoot, et cetera.

is there any retainment / clips, or similar to secure the individual wires? I'm surprised it's not a cable (unless you had already removed the jacket to check the individuals)

when i installed my winch, you get an even better view of the frame horns that you're relying out. I would not have felt comfortable using my winch in anything but a light to maybe moderate pull if I hadnt added the frame horn reinforcements.

I wouldnt knock the dealer just yet. seems they're certainly working with you. and they replaced an axle shaft under warranty that YOU dorked up pulling a truck. That's mighty kind of them. REgardless, service at Huntersville ford is excellent. If you DO run into dealer service issues...
