Now running CV-Fab's 2.3 downpipe with a CRP 57mm stage 4 turbo. The downpipe's sound really improve's the driving experience. Recommended upgrade with supporting modifications.
Maplecrest Ford in Union, NJ just installed a CR Performance Stage 4 57mm impeller turbo along with CVF's new 2.3 catted downpipe on my Bronco
My build is a 5800lb 2 door includes a high mount intercooler, radiator, and uses a JB4 piggy back tuner with water methanol injection, E30 fuel, and...
I put Baer 14" big brakes on my 38" tires and it stops as well as a GTI. IMO big brakes are the best performance upgrade for the Bronco. With good digressive coilovers it can have a very sporty GTI feel as well.
Could I use a high flow Gesi at the turbo and take the existing catalytic converter and temporarily add it near the rear of the Magnaflow exhaust system for inspection?
I purchased CV Fabrication's new 2.3 downpipes and it comes with a 700 CPSI catalytic converter that is not CARB compliant.
1. How much more performance would a Gesi G-Sport provide vs the 700 CPSI?
2. What is the highest performing CARB compliant catalytic converter that I can use?
I run C rated 38s on a 5600lb rock krawling purpose built Bronco. The C rated tires are softer and wrap around rocks much better. Given the option choose C.
