The Tri-State Broncos are doing a run in Mahwah on the 22nd if you'd like to join us. More than a few extreme builds. The best rock crawling terrains in NJ are over the border at AOAA and Rousch in Pa.
I had full PPF installed within days of purchasing my Bronco. For those of us who trail ride in the East PPF is a requirement if you don't want your vehicle pinstriped. It is very common to have branches scraping both sides at the same time and limb risers are very useful. These things would...
Yes it was. I went from looking at Foutz's front bumpstop kit to considering a stock length LCA to use with a weld on can and the two options I found were the Solo's that had a lack of steering wheel stops and the Foutz which did but are more expensive. I was looking to understand if not...
He did answer the questions I asked.
"Can you please tell me what size uniball you use at the spindle and what size at the frame sides?
What are the pros and cons of using a LCA with the ball joint pushed forward 1”?
Thanks"
From Tanner at Solo Motorsports
"Everything uses a 1" uniball on those. The pro is gained caster and improved firewall clearance. There is no con of pushing everything forward. All of our Toyota stuff is pushed forward an inch. We've sold sets into the thousands at this point."
Are you running any of Solo or Foutz mounting supports? Whose front bumpstop are you using?
"And I don’t know about that lower ball joint being moved forward by an inch."
Well please get on it! I have been doing a lot of my learning on here- so either you figure it out or have Bigmeats...
I like the quality of Foutz products but what makes you like the Foutz better? I know the Foutz has an option for by-pass shock mounting but that isn't something I will ever use.
What caught my attention with the Solomotorsports LCAs was the ball joint pushed forward 1" and my question on this...
Mine is a CST- Civilian sports tank on 38s running a CSV stage 4 turbo, downpipes, water methanol injection and 5.38 Dana 44/60 with a triangulated 4 link rear suspension. The only thing I do not anticipate doing a lot of is desert running and I didn't want to go wider. It's already got the...
I need an education on steering stops. This kit says it looses the function of the factory steering stops. Is this important and are aftermarket steering stops available...
It's getting cold and I would like to have my car warm when I get in. I am thinking about a remote controlled electric heater - preferably Wifi controlled for distance but Bluetooth will also work at home. Can anyone suggest a wireless controller that would be good for turning on/off an...
I took 4 adults and a 60lb dog on a 14 day road trip with great success. With the right luggage systems a 2 door is more than enough space. The only thing I would do differently is not mounting the recovery boards on the side window as it blocked the rear passenger's view of the beautiful scenery.
I run both. The JB4 makes considerably more power. They both do different things and are a good combination to run on a 2.3l but if you have a 2.7 I would just buy a custom tune.
