What I really dislike about my Wolfbox G900 is the rear camera. I already have a multi-camera system and the Wolfbox is for full time rear view use.
While the front camera is 4k the rear camera is not. The rear view camera is also too wide angle so that when driving at night everything...
I just noticed you are considering the Nitto MTs. I'd suggest looking at their Ridge Grapplers instead of the MT series for many reasons on a street car. They are quieter, they will handle better on road, they will turn better, and they will stop better. Unless you have upgraded your brakes...
40s will make your Bronco slower, take longer to stop, and will be less nimble on the road. I run Nitto 38 x 12.5". I also have a Dana 60 with 5.38 gearing. If you are not using this for extreme rock crawling you want deeper gearing not more rubber.
I have taken many classes with Kyle and Off Road Consulting- he is the best. In the winching classes we even did things like flipping a car over and built to using multiple vehicles for recovery. I was leaning towards portals until he talked me out of it. The classes are well organized and...
Is this to say that the transmission runs out of capacity before the stock long block and that there is no reason to install an upgraded/built engine in a manual Bronco?
Do you know which fuel pump did they used? I ran E30 on my first tank of gas when I had the turbo installed and the stock pump couldn't keep up when the rpms got high. Switched to E93 and just WMI and it is no longer a problem.
Do you have a gut feel on how much HP/TQ I'll pick up when you have a proper tune available? (I am running the 57mm stage 4 on a 2.3 with every supporting upgrade available)
Having done it I am going to have to completely disagree with you. I am running a JB4 piggy back tuner with an intercooler, water methanol injection, ... and there was a very noticeable change when I added the turbo and downpipes. Combined with 5.38 gearing on 38" tires the Bronco is a...
I put a CR stage 4 on my 2.3l. I paid CR an extra hundred dollars and they shipped me an updated turbo and offered to refund the cost if I sent them my turbo. I am now sending my original turbo casing to be heat coated by Hot-Jet.
IMO the turbo is not worth upgrading until you run out of all...
