I'd like if the door opens automatically when I shut off the car. Remembering to pull the door handle just sucks. Sometimes I forget and I just have to sit there and stare at the steering wheel.
It's difficult to choose a color from a photo, the color is off, the scale is off, you really need to see it in person.
I drove 8 hours once just to see a rare color on a car a dealer was offering me as a leftover he could get from a different dealer. I drove to see, not the car I was buying...
I remember a time when there was no visor warning stickers.
Then came a cardboard sleeve with warnings that slipped over the visor.
Followed by removable stickers.
Then stickers on the underside of the visor so they weren't visible when stowed.
Now they are in full view and we buy stickers to...
Absolutely agree. And, not just an off-road vehicle, but a convertible off-road vehicle. That, too, comes with a whole host of inconveniences that I think many folks just won't tolerate. Wait for a few years when your new vehicle looks like shit because the top starts to look shabby and then...
I was a licensed used car dealer for 20 years at my auto shop. I've never seen anything like this market.
I predict USED Broncos with actual mileage on them will still sell for MSRP (or close) for at least the next year. You can probably drive your Bronco for a year or more and still sell it...
I've upgraded or replaced the steering wheel on almost every car I own.
Since every trim but the Base has a leather wheel, I'll wait for one from a wreck. They won't be expensive in a year or two.
I think it depends on if you really need Sasquatch. My wife and I don't. Stepping up the Big Bend just opens up more options.
Last time I calculated the pricing (manual trans, 2-door), for about the same money as a ZERO option BASE Sasquatch ($38,880), you can get/option a Big Bend with...
It's refreshing to see the enthusiasm for 2-door cars in this forum, in a world that generally shuns 2-door vehicles.
For as much as I love the 2-door Bronco, I hate the 4-door even more. Another giant 4-door SUV in a world of giant 4-door SUVs, and it's ugly to boot. Praise FORD for building...
Whew, man, some real uptightness going on. I'd just smile at a duck on my tire.
Reminds me of Cart Narks on YouTube and the people who flip out when the guy applies a bumper magnet on their car when they don't return their shopping cart.
If you reinforce the tie rods, then you risk destroying the rack.
This should be an interesting dilemma.
Conventional steering box and steering linkage, virtually indestructible, but probably not as cheap to make as a steering rack.
Agree.
They need a Base Base Bronco. One color, crank windows, no AC, infotainment delete, rear seat delete, no cruise or other electronic BS, hell . . . take the damn airbags and ABS out of it (yeah, I know they can't). Just like my Suzuki Samurai. I wonder what the Base Base price would be...
I have a close friend who was backing her husband's new car out of the garage. She couldn't see well and not knowing how to adjust the mirrors and seats yet, she decided to open the door and hang her head out to reverse. The door hit the garage door frame and bent the car door so hard it...
