Obvious, given the Bronco was always a 2-door. The 4-door is just a bastardization to fit the market in a million other 4-door SUVs. At least the 2-door is somewhat unique.
Flex doors come off too . . . just not as easy. :)
My wife has a smart fortwo, I have a thick skin when it comes to people being critical of cars on internet forums. You get used to it.
That seems reasonable, given some Bronco parts prices being quoted here.
I wonder if it's chinesium. Definitely a Snap-on tribute, from what I've seen.
Definitely, from the front and the back they look great. :)
I also like the dissimilar angles on the leading and trailing edge of the B pillar and how the door seam just intersects it somewhere, by chance.
Rile people up? Moi?
shhhhhhhhhh . . . . don't tell anyone, but from a pure design aesthetic, the Flex profile is better than the Bronco.
Don't get me started, but for one, what's that janky plastic triangle on the rear door windows?
Man, sorry this happened. I know the feeling.
One of the few things I like about Tesla is their camera surveillance system. That would be nice to have in situations like this one.
They are different vehicles in appearance. If I love red wine I think it's okay to say I hate white wine without wine fans getting their panties in a bunch. It's an opinion on the design of the car, not an opinion of the people who own one, or prefer them.
Plus, you can tell the design...
It's not a drag, it's a clarification. I think the 2-door Bronco is the best looking design in decades, the 4-door is not. It's not a personal affront if you prefer the 4-door.
Not to mention the Superfund Site(s) where he dumped waste solvents and deposited barrels of paint waste onto the Mississippi River floodplain, creating what was eventually named "Area C".
"f@&k that river, I have some black paint to get rid of, cheap." ~~ Henry Ford (Allegedly).
That's the truth. I think the 2-door Bronco is the coolest looking vehicle built in decades (meanwhile, the 4-door is her grotesque adopted sister). Most of my adult life my friends and family have thought of me as a "Jeep guy" (I never owned a Jeep). But, the Bronco fits.
Amen.
I'm happy to wait for a deal to come along. Let Richie Rich take the depreciation and give Ford time to get their act together. Sit back and watch the shit show. 🤣
This.
I sold used cars as a licensed Pennsylvania dealer for 25 years, beginning in the 1980s.
Depreciation will depend upon public perception. If Ford screws the pooch and some of these Bronco issues go viral, look out. I lived through the Audi 5000 fiasco, if you don't know what that was...
I understand the market fluctuations, currently our MINI is worth more than we paid for it in 2018, 45,000 miles ago, but still. The bubble will burst and there are going to be so many people financially upside down in their cars. Including the Bronco, as Ford is going to build millions of...
That's different. OP says the vehicle has 2100 miles on it. That's used car miles, and it's still MSRP plus overpriced accessories.
At even 5 miles per road test that's 420 different people farting in the driver seat. No discount, no thanks.
For comparison, my wife's 2017 MINI was a dealer...
But, the 67K no heated mirrors thread was both informative and hilarious. I read all 10 pages and had learned to push the rear defrost button on the first page.
Absolutely. Problem is, as a mechanic, you get these customers in that never use the parking brake and when it's used for the first time in years the mechanism is rusty and it locks on and won't release.
Even though I knew better, I can't tell you how many times I was running on remote and set...
