Okay, okay. When you can't guarantee the conditions under which the filter will be filled, or the competence of the mechanic filling it, the safest thing to do is just recommend installing it dry. I'm confident I can fill a new oil filter with new oil and not introduce any contaminants.

The 2-color door thing is conceivably possible. Original door had a structural defect, say a hinge welded on poorly, so the door wouldn't close properly. Add an orphan door, ship it to a dealer for paint.
As someone who's installed thousands (literally) of shocks and struts at my shop, this happens. Sometimes they are bad right out of the box or don't even make it past the road test.
What are these (non-reservation) customers walking in off the street and paying 25K markup even thinking? Do they brag they paid 25K over MSRP at the yacht club, or do people just not value money. It's not like Ford isn't going to build millions of these things.

I think fuel economy is one of the last things anyone in the USA thinks about. I hate spending money on fuel and have always owned thrifty cars. I'll be using the Bronco as a second car.
The seats are covered with plastic on the assembly line, so a mismatch might not be as obvious as you'd think. Plus, two different workers installing the seats, one from each side. Still shouldn't happen though.
