"Kirkland Signature Full Synthetic 5W-30 motor oil aligns with the Ford WSS-M2C961-A1 specification, as it meets the required API SP and ILSAC GF-6A standards"
I did do the research, Costco's buying power allows them them to sell premium motor oil at a reasonable cost. It's on par with the other top brands, no need to pay extra for advertising and sponsorships.
About $25, in my garage.
Kirkland full synthetic $2.70 qt
Motorcraft filter $8
I regularly get coupons in the mail from my dealer, for something like $55 an oil change.
x4 on the OEM set, 20-25% off on sale, with free shipping to select dealers. This is the one item, I wouldn't waste my time on Craigslist/MP, because it's a longshot that anyone is selling their gas tank skid from the OEM set, even if they are replacing other components.
Nothing screams I'm 17, still thinking it's 2005, I just got my license and a Harbor Freight coupon, like a light bar. Don’t get me started on 20" rims and neon lights in the wheels well..... And say no to Crack and decorative shackles (aka nipple rings/truck nutz 2.0)..... End of rant for...
I made it half way through the video, at no point did I see an actual battery swap, I did see AI generated displays of the swap. Did they ever actualy show it, if the last 5 minutes, or just more cartoonish videos?
Think about the amount of cars that go through a Costco station, with one employee working... then think of what would be required to take that volume swapping batteries. 6 seconds later that idea no longer looks interesting.
The 6 over the 4-banger is a no brainer (if going auto). However if you haven't done much research, what's unique to the Badlands trim, is most of the drivetrain components are essentially "Sasquatch", without the need to add that package. The extra $4-6k for the package adds very little.
