  1. Kicker Key 200.4 Done Correctly

So I had some time to review your beginning post. If I read it correctly after running the new wire to the kicks, you connect the new wire to the output side of the amp on amp 2 which would be the purple/purple blk and green/green blk wires (ch3&4) that were cut earlier? You also had mentioned...
  2. Ford hoop steps vs buckle up, buttercup quick release full length step

Between your choices I'd select Ford. Personally, for something like full length steps I'd purchase from a company that manufactures their own in house. I have IAG full length steps and have run them for over 2 years (in Ohio). The power coating still looks brand new and IAG puts closed cell...
  3. LED Grill Emblem Letter installed

Yup. $400 - 1 year warranty. Apparently, the manufacture isn't sure either, or maybe they are. The individual lights are not replaceable so 1 burns out, that's another $400 if you want a fully functional grill lighted grill emblem. Cool look but no thank you.
  4. Kicker Key 200.4 Done Correctly

Ok great! I figure it will be next week before I can pull my kicker out and start to rewire. I think I got it but I'll let you know if I need some help. Thank you again for your kind help. You are awesome!
  5. Kicker Key 200.4 Done Correctly

So I have just the base 6 speakers. Added 6.5 pods in the back, kicker csc 4" speakers in the dash, kicker key 400.2 amp w/ plug n play harness and did forscan changes of turning off head unit amp and turn rears to "speakers." I guess I have the classic wrong way to use the kicker key. So I am...
  6. Tailgate Rattle/Creaking Noise Easy Fix

I had a rattle / creak in my tailgate when going over "sharp" bumps. It was driving me nuts. Was pursing the forum and found a suggestion to spray WD40 white lithium grease on the back side of the nuts holding the spare tire mount and tailgate hinges. You have to first remove the black trim...
  7. Hard Top ---- What do I need to know or Why should I stay with Soft Top?

So, I have driven 1 soft top at highway speeds, and my hard top is significantly quieter than the soft top. I have had some squeaks but have located them all and eliminated them. This forum is a great resource for info on where to look. I have some wind noise in 1 place just above the passenger...
  8. Easy but affordable Bronco top removal?

I have the Toplift pro. Super easy. Top off with just a single quick push. If you are getting a 4 door FB marketplace has used ones, usually prior Jeep owners for almost half price and already assembled. You can get one for $500-600 used if you have a little patience.
  9. What's the story with these Ford Performance front tow hooks...?

  10. 4 door hardtop remover tool / device ?

Wouldn't happen to have a pic of your "support" would ya? I have decided to build one myself just to take the stress off the top and put the weight back on the sides like it does when installed. Looking for ideas. Thanks

  14. Stolen Spare Tire - took 2min

No, no it really isn't rocket science. I addressed Advanced Lock response in another post(see it for the complete response). As I said in the other post "projectfarm" was using "locking lug nut extractor kit." Donut used one too with the same result as projectfarm. The lug nut extractor was too...
  15. Stolen Spare Tire - took 2min

A couple of things. The Donut dudes do not have a dog in this fight, they don't care what the results are. You know who does? Liz from advanced wheel locks. I have looked at that video several times and I do not see the wrench moving when they start pounding on it but even if I am missing it...
  16. Stolen Spare Tire - took 2min

Soooo, Project Farm is using "wheel lock removal tool." If you watch your video when he is hammering the tool is moving all around. It is obvious it will not grip the wheel lock because it is too large. The guys on Donut media also use one at 7:45 and they had the same result as Project Farm...

  19. Cold Air Intake System - best recommendations? S&B, K&N or AFE?

Stock. It flows plenty of air and has great filtration. If you want more performance the best bang for the buck is a tune. "High flow" filters make a compromise between filtration and performance. The only way to get more air flow is to lessen restrictions (less filtration) or increase volume...
