  1. TopLift Pro vs. RollnJack

I looked at both. Watched some videos on the Rollin Jack and seemed there was a lot of cranking involved to get the top up.....a lot. Vs the Top lift which is just a push down and it's off. Liked the price of the Rollin Jack but not the mechanics. Bought a Top lift off FB market place for...
  2. Help: I purchased a factory stolen Bronco Raptor and had no idea

First, I am so sorry this happened to you. However, there are some hard truths. You would be wasting money for an attorney. Best one could do is get some goodwill for you from Ford. Fact is the dealership had legal right to get the Raptor back and Ford has the legal right to the Bronco or...
  3. Anyone install a K&N air filter ONLY on the 2.7L ? Looking for feedback. Thanks!

Don't. K&N is horrible for filtration. If you don't want to watch the whole thing skip to 13:31 for results. Wix or Purolator 1 seems to be the best with decent performance.
  4. Off-Roadeo Disappointment

Whelp, his "time" because it has a 0 percent chance of prevailing but I guess if it makes someone feel better doing that, ok.
  5. Butt Solder Process and how I do it

You're right. The "knock offs" on Amazon are horrible. The original "solder seal" ones work better. I can only see using these if you can't solder, don't have the equipment or in a place that soldering would not be practical. The independent video's I have watched on these show the low temp...
  6. Off-Roadeo Disappointment

Unfortunately, the OP would not prevail. The cancellation policy is clearly stated on the website. It sucks and it would be nice if the Off Rodeo would show the OP some grace due to the circumstances, but I get their side too. I had a great time at the Off Roadeo and everyone was very...
  7. You can’t beat the SOFT top!

Had to chuckle. A thread about not being able to beat a soft top and several people within inquire if a hard top is for sale. Irony.
  8. 2.3L Stock Mufflers Flapperectomy

According to the Society of Automotive Engineers Innovative Passive Exhaust Valve Improves Sound Quality and Reduces Muffler Volume without Backpressure Penalty (sae.org)
  9. Others experiences with IAG step bars?

AR- $1395 IAG-$799 = $596 difference (4dr) AR- $1245 IAG- $749 = $500 difference (2dr) but I get your point IAG also offers a discount for military and first responders, Not sure about AR.
  10. Others experiences with IAG step bars?

I have the full steps and really like em. I had an early set, and they did rust at the welds. Contacted IAG and they took care of it quick, fast and in a hurry. Got my new ones and they had been redesigned where the deck was attached to the frame after the powder coating process so no more...
  11. Lange Original vs. Smarter Home Hard Top Lift

I looked at both but ended up buying a used Toplift Pro so I have no direct experience with either but I had been leaning towards the Smart Home. I thought it looked like the Lange put too much stress on the 2nd row panel (4dr version). Lange told me it didn't put much stress on the panel at...
  12. Pretty Awesome - Topliftpros Hardtop Removal

Not sure how much you would want to spend on one but $500-600 seem to be the selling point used. I see them all the time on Craigslist and FB Market Place around me. They usually start out around $800-700 but don't sell. When I was looking to buy one, I would just watch it and price would...
  13. Kids - ID for Age?

Just give the folks at the Off Rodeo a call. I am sure they have the answer and are very helpful people. I called a couple of times before I attended mine and was very impressed with them. Good luck and have fun. 888-260-5744
  14. Interior Sound Level Decibels Test -- Soft Top vs. Hard Top vs. No Top

I think these types of videos are somewhat of a disservice to those trying to decide between a hard top and soft top over the concern of noise. How loud something is, is subjective. Your kid upstairs blasting their music may not be loud to them but you downstairs might be losing your mind...
  15. Smarter home top lift ?

If you are not in a big hurry and don't mind buying one used, I have seen some on FB Marketplace. One I was eyeing the guy couldn't get rid of and was down to $300 but then I found a Toplift pro for $500 and scooped it up.
  16. Another thread about mud flaps.

Same, front only. They look much better in person then any pic I have seen. I also didn't like that weird long fender flare look most other flaps create. I have rock rails, so it looks like the flap is part of the rail instead of the flare. I prefer that look. The gap has been a non issue...
  17. Pretty Awesome - Topliftpros Hardtop Removal

I got a used one that's like new for $500. Bonus no shipping and it was already put together. There is a bunch of em out there if you look. Jeep guys selling them once they get rid of their Jeeps. Much quicker than using a hoist and it doesn't rest on the weather seals, which bugs me about...
  18. Error after doing the double honk delete using Forscan

Update: So I cleared the DCT code and went out for a drive. Opened up forscan and I had 4 new codes along with the same one. Cleared codes again, disconnected forscan and reconnected. Codes still there. I noticed my ignition key was outside the vehicle on my shop cart by the drivers door...
  19. Error after doing the double honk delete using Forscan

So I did the double honk delete using the spreadsheet posted in amccue90’s thread back on Nov 2012. It was successful but now when I connect forscan I get this error. Any ideas what I did wrong? Vehicle drives fine.
