  2. Plasti Dipped my Roll Bar

Nice. Glad you posted this and are happy with it. I am wanting to change the color of my hard top and thought about plasti dipping it. Of course i won’t use spray cans to accomplish that. I don’t see much on here about ppl using plasti dip.
  3. CAI 2.3L 2024

If you are honestly concerned about your engines health, just stay with stock.
  4. Best Grille Lights?

On the side of the fuse box just up from where the wire is plugged into the fuse box is a factory notch/slit on the side. Tuck your wire into the notch and the lid will close as intended. Just fyi I have the IAG grille lights.
  5. K&N Replacement Air Filter

Yes you are correct. I didn't list that as the OP was taking about a stock air box. You aren't going to get that much more volume in a stock box. As far as S&B's claim about "a cone" I'd have to see some independent testing on that to believe it. I have found manufactures make fantastic...
  6. K&N Replacement Air Filter

OEM is fine however I am a Wix or Purolator One guy. Testing of these filters over and over have shown they do a great job of filtering the air. I'd stay away from any oiled filter. Any filter that claims more flow, you need to ask yourself how is that possible. There is only 2 ways, fewer...
  7. K&N Replacement Air Filter

^^^^^^^ This. K&N are called “rock catchers” for a reason.
  8. Need a new engine on my 2021 Badlands Sasquatch

Ok, That seems pretty complete. All the advertisements for ESP I have read didn't have the first 3 at all. Those are kinda the important ones, IMO. I have even googled it thinking Ford would have a complete list but couldn't find anything different. Weird. Thanks.
  9. Need a new engine on my 2021 Badlands Sasquatch

Every break down I see of the ESP only has limited parts covered. None of the reciprocating components are even listed other than a timing chain as covered. No cylinder head or any of its components, no engine block mentioned. If there is a more comprehensive list I sure would like to see it.
  10. Need a new engine on my 2021 Badlands Sasquatch

Ford extended warranty only covers select engine components not necessarily an engine replacement.
  11. is catch can needed on 2.3L? (worth the $)

The wife’s 2.3 has a UPR catch can. Easily unscrews at the bottom to empty. Usually gets about 1/4 full between oil change. Cheap insurance. I’ve had the issue of build up on the valves on a DI engine. Not needed on a dual injection engine such as the 2.7.
  12. Roll N Jack - 4 door experience to remove hardtop

I looked at them but every video I saw of them it seems like a lot of cranking to get the top off. The price was more attractive than that of a top lift pro but I really liked with the top lift it was just a push and the top was off. So I bought a used Toplift on FB market place for the same...
  13. Air Filter/Intake

I've had a similar problem with K&N. After using the filter for several thousand miles, my truck started burning oil. Yes they flow more air and also the abrasive media with it. I'd never use another oiled "lifetime" filter again.
  14. Removing center top section with bimini top installed

Thanks for responding Mike. When you take it off by yourself are you standing to one side and lifting off? If so, unfortunately I am not able to do so, at least at this time. I have a torn rotator cuff and labral fraying. If that's the way you take it off, I'll give it a try after surgery...
  15. Removing center top section with bimini top installed

Thanks for the suggestions. Wife is too short and we are empty nesters. A neighbor will work if I have to go that route but I really want to be able to do it myself. May have to swallow that pride. LOL
  16. Removing center top section with bimini top installed

Awesome! I'll give this a go. I have a top lift pro so this might work out slick for me. Thanks
  17. Removing center top section with bimini top installed

So I like being able to remove the hard top by myself which wasn't a problem til I put the Jtops bimini top on. Now I can't take the center section off like I did by lifting and moving over towards one side while in the back seat. The bimini obviously won't let me do that. The Jtops bimini is...
