I'm going to go out on a real short limb and say that reading comprehension is not your strong suit. The article you posted says the majority of engines on the road are now 4 cylinders. It does not say V8 motors, and inline 6 motors, are going away. ;)
Seriously though, I'm 47 and since before...
Yeah, any solid front axle vehicle can do it. We had a flatbed F450 at my family farm that was notorious for it around 55 MPH if you were turning left in a sweeping curve. Never did figure out why that was a constant trigger, but when it happens you KNOW it's happening. lol.
I am almost certainly switching to @StephensAutoCenter before the end of October deadline. They are in West Virginia and doing the same deal as Granger if you're interested. Only about 4 hours from Charlotte, NC.
I'm thinking of doing a three year lease too. So I have options to turn it in and go with a hybrid or raptor or whatever at that time. Not sure yet what I'll do, but considering it.
I actually am a new deal/green koolaid drinker and would like to do all I can to avoid making climate change any...
Agreed. I'd be willing to consider that 4XE Rubicon depending on pricing. Not going to lie, that is a lot of power and range, plus the added efficiency. I'm not a Jeep hater anyway. Had a 2 door Sahara JK for a few years before I went back to the muscle car world for a while.
Holy Crap that Wagoneer is ugly. That is disappointing, and I hope it doesn't hint at where the new Grand Cherokee is going. I have a 2011 Grand Cherokee and I still love the way it looks. Hope they don't screw that one up too. The Wagoneer is hideous.
I've actually done a 120 month loan before. I didn't carry it to term. Put a reasonably large down payment on the car and paid it down early. I then sold the car before I hit the ten year mark anyway. At the time of the loan the rate difference from 72 months to 120 months at my credit union was...
C5 is nice. Underrated these days. Nice, simple approach and loads of fun to drive. I had a 2004 triple black convertible with a manual transmission. It was a blast.
I’ve been running this one on our grand Cherokee for a couple of years now:

I added the light kit and got a waterproof cargo bag...
Do they though? I’ve seen a handful of sport s wranglers just sitting a dealer lot. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a base sport trim at a dealer though. Not once.
I’m pretty sure the exact quote was “by September at the latest.”
I expected that to mean live before September 1 but j suppose you could argue that could also mean by the end of September. I would give you some side eye while you’re claiming that but you can try that argument. lol
I know I've seen some width numbers posted in the spec sheets (for the Badlands that I'm interested in, the listed width is 76.3 inches with the mirrors FOLDED). What I'm interested in is any insider information or just speculation really, on the width of these trim levels with the mirrors out...
I still find it outrageous considering whatever trim you’re buying already has wheels and tires. If you’re in an outer banks trim for example, the standard eighteen inch wheels and 32 inch tires won’t be as much as different wheels with 35 inch tires, but it’s not like it would cost you 3000...
Certainly possible. The bump stops would have more to do with tire height. Tire width issues usually cause rubbing inside the wheel well when turning, and can often be solved with aftermarket wheels that have a different offset.
Yeah the pickings are slimmer but I like BFG KO2s and they come in that size. So do Nitto Ridge Grapplers and Falken Wildpeaks so I was cool with those options. I think Toyo ATs come in that size too.
Since the Badlands has everything for Sasquatch on it already (for the most part) I would be thrilled if Ford would allow you to just put bigger tires on the regular badlands. Let me keep the narrow rims. I still want 285 series tires or so. Don't really care about the 315's, but let me put...
