I'll probably just leave them folded down most of the time, although I really wish they were easy to just remove in a 2-door. I hate that leaving them folded takes away access to the MOLLE panels on the backs of the front seats. So now that I'm talking through it, I may just take them out to be...
Exactly. The modular top for the 2-door, if this is all true, is really just not worth it. I mean, what does it actually give you? I haven't seen anyone clamoring for that hatch on top and sound deadening mats are easily added later if you want that. Again, my biggest issue is the weight. I was...
I’m definitely in this camp now. The modular top was high on my list of options when it originally sounded like you could remove the rear quarter panels. Dropped a bit on my list when that turned out to be you could only remove the glass. Now you can’t even do that in the two door? If that’s the...
Pretty sure the underpopulated cities in China are not because of lax building codes and trashy steel...
The Chinese Government has a big plan to move a huge population of its citizens into urban centers and to have less rural population. As such, they've been investing in all sorts of cities...
1000 under invoice or 1300 under invoice if you’re eligible for x-plan from Ford.
Here is the thread to the deal with Stephens in West Virginia.

Agreed. I actually don’t mind waiting on the build and price but “by September” doesn’t mean “by the end of September” anywhere else.
If I told my boss I’d have something to her by September and she came to me on September 15 asking what was going on, an appropriate answer would not be, “Oh...
Not the end of the world for me. Wasn't counting on it actually happening so my plan is still 2 door badlands, manual transmission. That has all the Sasquatch items minus the wheels and tires and I don't mind running 33 inch tires in the short term. Can always put bigger shoes on later if I want to.
I actually am considering this approach. Never leased a car in my life, namely because the math of it really almost never makes sense. You really are usually better off buying.
However, because of the questions around trims and powertrains (namely the hybrid for me) potentially coming in the...
Fair point. I should stop seeding confusion too, without solid evidence.
For me, I don't care anything about the rating of Class II vs. Class III as far as the Bronco goes. I just want the 2" receiver so all my stuff works. I don't load anything on my cargo tray that would ever exceed 350...
Almost positive someone from Ford confirmed that was incorrect and it would have a 2” receiver. Really hoping it is not a class II and does have the 2” receiver so all my hitch accessories don’t need adapters.
thanks for digging that up. I’ll dig deeper.
Ford would make a lot of people happy if they’d have just made the rear seats removable. That was one of the best things about my 2 door wrangler. I took the back seat out within a month of buying it and it never went back in it until I traded it.
I mean, if the height difference in the folded seats and the load floor is 4 inches, as has been rumored, then that will be a REALLY easy fix for me with some 2x4s and 1/4 inch plywood, and there will be nifty slide in storage underneath as well. lol.
In my 2 door Jeep I had the rear seat out...
I'm going Badlands. Not really because I am on technical trails a lot. I just want the ability to go up to Lux package, still have washout floors (I have lots of dogs) and I get all the Sasquatch stuff but can run the 33 inch tires and still get a manual transmission that way.
My experience with insurance quotes on a Wrangler is that it is NOT cheap. The insurance on my 2012 Sahara Wrangler was more than insurance on a 2005 Corvette convertible I had and more than a 2009 Corvette Z51 I owned too.
Only car I've ever had where the insurance was more than that Wrangler...
