Well, what I'm reading online from different places is that there are consumer grade ceramic coatings, and then there are better grade ceramic coatings that only the professional coaters use. The consumer grade stuff supposedly protects your paint a significantly shorter amount of time.
I think I read somewhere the Outer Banks will now have black handles, not body colored anymore. Might have been in the Ford Q&A on Twitter, which I think is posted here. Personally, I prefer the black trim.
I'm 6'2" also. For us older guys and gals, the knee arthritis is the real problem with a tall vehicle. We still love 'em tall just as much as younger guys, just need something usable as a DD.
My wife won't be able to get into this monster. I would have loved this when I was 25, but at 51... not for me. How does this height compare to just the Sasquatch with 35" tires?
Same here, but remember... this is just a reservation. It's not a done deal yet if you get cold feet. I'd personally like a hybrid to save some gas money (this will be my DD), so part of me is thinking hold off for now. But what if that hybrid comes and it's $20k more than I want to pay? I...
I've been pretty nervous about Ford's B&O audio after watching this review.
Disclaimer: I have never owned a Ford nor owned B&O, but this is not a very positive review.
If we can get good sound from it, I'd definitely prefer to stay with the factory speaker locations and avoid the wakeboard speakers. No need to clutter up the vehicle if we don't need to.
Good thread. Also thinking about my audio waaay ahead of time. I am one of those guilty people with wakeboard speakers in my Jeep. :) Would like to use my existing Focal speakers in the Bronco, if they'll fit.
I wouldn't. Send that guy to me if you're not sure. An instant $15k? Done deal.
That's the down payment on a new rental property in my area, which generates more cash flow every month. $10k would get my Bronco, too. Even $5k would make me think hard about it.
