Sorry, I think I responded to the wrong post. :) Chip is the guy I was directed to at Granger Ford. Chip said dealers do not know how many reservations they will receive nor what your place in line is. I have messaged Albert to see if this is correct.

It's going to be a major savings for me. Shipping (or a plane ticket) isn't that expensive.

I asked Granger earlier today, in fact. Chip said they had no idea, and that dealers do not know. He said that only Ford knows this info. Yes, I know that conflicts with what some others are saying. I am just relaying what Granger told me today.

Heh. I hate to break it to ya, but the Bronco is a techy vehicle. This ain't no Jeep JK with 20 year old tech inside. :)

"Nirvana" is a strong term, from my perspective. There's also no EV or hybrid model at this time and no power top on any models. I still love the Bronco, but remember... it's still just a vehicle.

Looks like a bad dealer to me. Don't reward the vultures in this industry. Reward the ones that are giving discounts. If I really had to pay $10k over MSRP, then the Bronco isn't the vehicle for me.

I think it'll be more than that, but if it is $2000, I might switch from the Wildtrak to an Outer Banks, add Sasquatch, and save a bunch of money.

Selling price "dictated by Ford." I wonder if that's going to turn out to be accurate. If all the prices are actually the same, that'll negate the nice deals that Granger and Laura Ford are offering.

Ford said at the time of ordering, you can transfer that reservation to another dealer.

I guess I'll just poke around when I'm on the Interstate. It should be such a pleasant drive home I probably won't mind.
