I think @Dom has the right idea. Even if your Bronco doesn't have puddle lights, this thread tells how to add the functionality:

I know that's a lot of fiddling for some folks but it...
@SFAforester no, I just saw his post. I don't know too many of the early Bronco guys other than a few I met in 2019 when I rode around with Bubba (Rory) since my 69 has never seen the light of day. My goal for this fall is to get the body back on the frame but that was my goal last year too
I don't think your tag worked so let me page @flip again. Maybe a 2.3L xmember would work so you have a reversion plan? Flip, is the 2.3 automatic devoid of these braces or is it just the 7MT? If so, is the rubber transmission mount the same between the two engines? I'm OK with the sawzall...
Those are awesome. We had to use one on our last trip to the Ouachita forest to help extricate a dead SxS. I've also used a long wood blade on a sawzall. I do carry a bow saw as well since it's small and it always works (slowly).
Not on the fronts but my son did on the inside of the big shell next to the back seat. My grill is really sharp where the hood release is, too. Ford should have thrown in the Bronco first aid kit at no cost!
There's not a physical inertia switch any more but there is some impact detection in the restraints module that can kill the fuel pump after a hard impact. I think it would take a really hard knock to trigger it and also I would expect it to show a message on the cluster saying it was...
21 is not bad but it's not quite as high as 22! Consider this a challenge! 😄 Hot Springs does not disappoint on the steep-o-meter.
What's the recovery plan? I'm 2-3 hours away but I'm off tomorrow if you need me.
No worries, your Bronco will smoke it. Those 37's are heavy, as is the beast on top of them. They'll probably limit torque in 1st and 2nd gear just like on 2.7L Broncos.
If you're talking about graded forest service roads then they're probably fine but trying SL tires on unmaintained roads is not a risk I would take. If you're going the SL route, it looks like these Coopers are only 43 pounds...
I saw a lonely Bronco at the back of the lot tonight at dinner and thought of this thread. I couldn't remember if I was supposed to key his Bronco or park with my flares rubbing his so I did the best I could and parked nearby.
I can get this measurement from a 2018 Expedition 3.5L if that helps but if the valve cover is different than the Bronco's then does it tell us anything?
At least your Badlands has the extra plate on the leading edge. My base does not and one day of wheeling at Hot Springs worked it over pretty hard. I'll be building something for this area before another crawling trip.
