The service manual says to have a helper hold a wrench on the flats that are on one side of the rack gear while removing the tie rod. I'm assuming you (and probably everybody) get by without doing that?
I just got a valve core remover type air down tool that I'm going to try out at Fun Run. We might find out how strong the sidewalls are if we go too low, probably before we lose a bead. Any trail suggestions? I haven't finished my sliders so I'm not getting too crazy but I have to at least...
Definitely possible from the physical side but integrating with all the electronics will be a task, though not impossible. I'm a little surprised an LS-swap hack job hasn't showed up by now.
Hopefully it looks better than their rear bumper does mounted o_O
