Still not bad though, I used to live in a van down by the river, and the beach, and the desert, and the tracks lol. But those safari/astros do have a stealth appeal and were a lil beefier than the Aerostar.
Hope its nothing too bad. There is another thread with a clutch failure that sounded like a potential pilot bearing being amiss causing a vibration that destroyed it. Could otherwise be a defect in the pressure plate or the disc itself. I hope this is not yours issue.
Was there any break in...
For real, when I get a Bronco its getting swampers. I have 28x8.50 tsls on a amc eagle, and it does better in sand than my old 32x11.50 BFG MTs. They arent really any worse on road than any extra durable mud terrian tires.
I wonder if a pilot bearing failed or was missing/incorrect and it held balance as long as it could. That would wobble a clutch disc. Maybe enough to crack the plate.
Offroad parks are the only way for people who dont live near public OHV trails to wheel without trespassing(done plenty). They are often affordable and have recovery and even concessions available. Unfortunately they are usually lousy with atvs and dirtbikes, literally have had both crash into...
I think its more about being "cocky", you know like the dudes who all have the front of their hair go up to make it look like all their stuff points up.
Freinds dont let freinds level their trucks! I assume you got the 4 door because you need more than yourself to be transported places. SO if there is a rake, thats what its for.
Any CJ7 owners wanna chime in here. I have run 33s with 3.54 gears and 0.63 OD with most of 110HP of fury. No problem going 80mph in it. Aside from the very real threat of imminent death by any one of many potential failures. :ROFLMAO:
Skills equal time and effort. With a $100 welder you could zip something together like this. It would be trash or yard art the first couple attempts but then you would figure it out.
Are you lost? Just give me a ring when you get close and let me know what road you are on.
Honestly I had a GPS when I drove trucks but if I live somewhere and dont know a place, I just look it up before I go and then go. All roads lead to an ocean ... eventually. If you are roadtripping I...
Hey folks, so alot of hate in the mud here, lame. Go comment on a crawler video:ROFLMAO:. Yeah dude went in too fast. I lile to go in medium and come out hard, but you do gotta watch for rocks and bricks people dump in the ruts. As far as breaking stuff. So what? Its not squatch or BL. Parts...
