I finally got around to having the Ford Performance Method wheels installed. The Discount Tire store was not able to get the TPMS sensors to read. They said to take it to the dealer. Is it just a matter that they need some miles to wake up?
The ARB harness does have relays wired in. Not sure how/why you want to use the upfitter if you plan to use the dimmer. The ARB dimmer is also the on/off switch. ARB used to have a pigtail that eliminated the dimmer and allowed you to connect to the upfitter. They discontinued it. I have...
I skipped the indicator lights. In their place I used BD S2 amber lights on an upfitter switch. Makes for a very nice wide pattern for foul weather driving.
If you happen to live somewhere that has zero ambient light, auxiliary lighting is critical. On the Bronco I have ARB Solis 36's for long range and Baja Design Squadron Pro's for foul weather. The combo works well. On the new F250 it has ARB Solis 36's for long range, Baja Design XL80's for...
The biggest difference I have seen from cheap to expensive is in the reflectors. They can all use the same brand LED. The difference in light output is the reflector. I have run cheap, middle, and high quality in the past. Today I spend the money for the known high quality. Lights are kind...
They must have changed the hardware. I struggled with the lower intercooler bolts, but the rest seemed to fall into place. I had to reroute the parking sensor and adaptive cruise wiring but neither required an extension. I did have to extend the camera wash hose. That said, I am old and it's...
Only drive it downhill. Switch to 135 width tires. It's a tall 5000+ LB rig with the aerodynamics of a brick. If it were easy to squeeze more MPG's, the factory would have done it to improve their CAFE numbers. Not really any low hanging fruit. Save your money on the K&N drop in. Zero...
I will check the directions I got from ARB. They sent me an in color PDF of the install. It was very different than the manual that came with the bumper.
