How long do you think it would take for another company to design the top, test it, and then put together the tooling to make the top and then setup an organization and build a factory and hire the workers to provide the tops to Ford? How much of an investment would be needed do you think?
The tire diameter itself only matters because it increases ground clearance which allows more air under the Bronco and increases drag. The difference in size that has the most effect on mileage is the width because it increases the size of the contact patch which increases drag by having more...
That's not what vaporware is. Vaporware is soft- or hard-ware that doesn't exist not that's difficult to get ahold of. Even since last year Ford has told customers that you would not get delivery of your Bronco until summer at the earliest. That seems to be what is happening. There ARE end-users...

Its not speculation, it is clearly stated in a number of places that the Ford 7/4 pin wiring has a socket under the dash to accept an aftermarket controller. The accessory controller to be sold by Ford dealers requires the Ford factory wiring with its included socket.
They added port injection because there are efficiency advantages to having port injection at some power/rev ranges and some for direct injection at other power/rev ranges. With both you cover all bases.
