The 2022 Black Diamond 2-door is $400 more than the 2021 but the price protection certificate is $975 so that probably includes money for the modular bumper extra charge.
There’s nothing new here. This is just the mechanism to accomplish what Ford told us months ago When they explained the scheduling problem issues. You are price protected if you get the same (or lesser) version. So no. There is no bull in this announcement or process.
its not just a case of contract law in states that regulate car dealers. In those states, you have to report those dealers to the state regulators. It probably won’t be fast but that may be your best recourse.
if you sign a contract that’s an agreement for them to order a specific car for you to purchase from them and the dealership signs that contract, especially if it has an agreed price and they took A deposit, that’s a binding deal they should be legally required to complete unless there are...
It’s a contract. Especially since money changed hands for an agreed upon price - a non-refundable deposit no less. All the words are there for a promise by the dealership to deliver a particular product once it arrived. Report the dealer to the State including the State’s attorney general to...
Price protection is a well documented promise from Ford. I’d say a legally binding promise. It probably can be argued by some dealers that it only covers MSRP but, the way it was stated in the emails from Ford it will be quite a mess for a dealer that chooses to ignore it I bet.
Tow package doesn’t. It’s the model that controls that. But, with the tow package Ford says the tow receiver with a recovery attachment can be used as an additional recovery point.
Why ” …only a dream.”? A number of manufacturers make and sell exactly that kind of fuel tanks for all of the major pickup truck brands. I expect the market would be much smaller for the Bronco but it seems to be an attractive niche to fill.
Ok. I started watching part 1 of his vids on the thermal hoses. I didn’t get past his nonsense of “fainting” after removing the frunk. Then seeing the yellow stickies that were already applied to parts, I decided he was not going to present a reasonably even-handed review or comparison. No. He...
Watched the vid. There are some issues with it. Many cars before PCV had a breather cap which was usually on the top of a valve cover that vented vapors directly to the air. With the onset of PCV, the first versions just replaced the breather with a plug that had a hose that plumbed the extra...
Hill start assist is different from start-in-gear. With Hill start you use the clutch and the brake but start-in-gear you only use the brake and only in 4L. From the manual:
1. After the vehicle stalls an information message displays in the cluster, To start in gear select YES and press...
I did look at those.
Looks good but with a slide out it will be more expensive. And the unloaded weight is 700 - 800 lb more than the Bushwhackers leaving only 500 lb for payload.
Braxton Creek makes several trailers that are fine for the Bronco. All of the Bushwhacker and Bushwhacker Plus trailers have GVWR of less than 3500lb. The Plus models are tall enough to stand up in if you are around average height. They are available in 15 and 17 foot lengths. I've looked at a...
the 315-70-17 is 34.4" per the chart but the Goodyear Wrangler MT lists 34.7, CooperDiscoverer 34.6 and others is a range from 34.4 to 34.7. The calculation is an estimate for a generic tire size with different manufacturers actually building tires to their own size. Inflation pressure also...
