The trailer brakes are important to prevent jackknife in a sudden stop too. Especially with a trailer that weighs a substantial percentage of the weight of the tow vehicle.

Rating is based on Davis Dam run which is more strenuous than old standards. Capability should far exceed class II 3500lb rating. Especially if actual payload in truck is limited and trailer is loaded to limit tongue weight but still balanced.

The max rating is 3500lb so no one should tell you they will tow more than that. At least not in writing.

The frame holes are present on every Bronco. The Ford accessory hitch will use those as I am sure most aftermarket hitches will as well. The accessory hitch is a 2” receiver as is the factory hitch.

it doesn’t look like it will. If you buy the accessory 4-pin harness from Ford it includes wiring so I don’t think there is anything there without a factory tow package.

Anything over 1500lb should have trailer brakes.

That’s only a 4-pin harness. The factory installation includes a 4/7-pin harness.

I run 3 peak KO2s on my F350 all year round including New Hampshire winters with plenty of snow. The tires are great. Got 30,000 miles on my current set and there is still plenty of good meat on them.

BD has the Rock-Crawl GOAT mode. Limits will be tire size, suspension travel, lack of front locker, and special shocks. I’m planning on lots of off-road fun with mine. The limits will be me. I will get a front winch though to help.

The body tub is steel but that is fully dipped and painted. Very few modern vehicles have any problems with rust in those areas anymore.
