When dynamiting my sub delete enclosure, I noticed this wonderful example of Bronco assembly (can't positively blame ford as someone could have messed with this before I owned it, unlikely but possible) After all, Quality IS JOB 1 😁 . I am thinking it's still usable but put a washer in...
Thanks;
If you don't mind me asking, how did you mount the 6.5" and then the 8". Naturally the 8" would require new holes, does the 6.5" just use the holes ford gave us? Did you wind up using speed clips for the 6.5" or the 8"?
I'm trying to decide between the factory amp & 6.5 option or an...
Thanks I had been reading (alot !). I'm definitely of the opinion that it's not worth 200$ for the B&O enclosure on ebay (the gearshade 8" is 225$, 325 of a 10" version).
How did you find the 6.75 after you added it and what amp did you use if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks
What we have here is the "Sub Delete Enclosure". I'm not sure if it's the same as the B&O enclosure although I don't think it is:
Does anyone know if this can be Dremeled out to take the Kicker or Memphis 8" sub
thanks
Chris
That is a MONSTER sub. I'm in the subtle "fill out the bottom end" camp. A powered 10" or an amp with a down fire box 8" or 10", maybe even the ford enclosure with an 8" should do. Thank you.
I just finished installing the Key200.4 amp into my 2023 Wildtrack. It does sound a lot better. Now it needs a sub.
I had someone Forscan the rear speakers to (passenger = SPEAKER, Driver = SPEAKER + SUB).
This means I should be able to tap the factory subwoofer plug for a signal, and I ran...
AZ here also (i've only had my bronco for 2 months so I can't give a AZ summer evaluation), I agree with most of the above. With NO rear air vents, I'm not sure you could freeze out the back seat passengers, but with Max AC and the dash vents on full it's more than enough AC for the front.
If I go the sub and amp route, a NVX or small Kenwood amp, mounted where the"dummy" amp is. If I go the powered Subwoofer route a Blaupunkt, Rockville, Cerwin-Vega, or a hideaway.
My KEY200.4 came with the PNP kits harness (and he is supplying the power wire). I have not checked the gauge as his reputation seems stellar. The 8-gauge wire (the extra power wire) will be run to the cargo area and left coiled up while I determine what to do for a subwoofer. It will also be...
Thanks, I am going small so I will be using 8 Gauge. Never heard that area referred to as a cooler, so I had to look it up :). My storage area (small as it is) is filled with a jump pack, and some off roading stuff that I hope I'll never use.
My bronco in in the shop... So, I'm sitting and over analyzing running the power wire from the battery to a Kicker Key200.4 that I will install when it gets back. I will be pulling 2 power wires: one for the Key200.4 and a second one for a sub install (but it will stay unfused until I am...
And you could probably score a GREAT deal on sasquatch take off. For some strange reason people always say the tires on my Wildtrack ((Sasquatch) 315/70 GY Territory) look bigger than tires I had on my Rubicon X (315/70 BFG KO2) even though they're the same size.
