Braptor delivered! found the perfect spec locally at a decent discount

2026 Avalanche gray with code orange pack, leather seats. It also has the keyless entry pad, which I didn’t need but might come in useful one day, and at least Ford has relocated the pad to the B-pillar for ‘25+ so it’s not as much of an eyesore. I dig the A-pillar grab bars which I assume is new for ‘26 because I haven’t seen this before and the full display mirror is very useful with the regular rearview mirror being obscured by the spare and rear light bar. I noticed this ‘26 no longer has a phone wireless charging pad, and I remember older broncos I’ve been in had it. Removed by Ford for cost-cutting? No biggie - there’s a plethora of USB ports.

It’s finally mine! Sorry these are all the pics I have for now since it started raining as soon as I got home yesterday. Will post some better pics outside when the sun comes out.

The biggest challenge was squeezing through the narrow and short entrance ramp at our condo‘s basement parking garage, as shown on the pic below. It just barely made it with little room for error. Only a few inches to spare width and height-wise. I will definitely need to install a mirror on the walls to help prevent any entry/exit mishaps in the future.

The Braptor was delivered with grey wheel rings installed but there was a big box in the trunk that contained a set of 5 orange ”beauty rings” to complete the code orange look. My kids want me to install the orange rings, but I’m still on the fence as it seems a bit over-the-top and it looks like a bit of tedious task since each ring has to be tightened with 24 torx bolts per wheel, plus the spare. Too lazy for now, and would rather just rip it around town and enjoy the drive.

Anyhow, love the truck so far. This forum is a wealth of information. Can’t wait to start modding stuff

$5k under msrp. I found some better deals like ‘25 leftovers for $11k under but not the spec I wanted unless I was willing to ship or buy from a distant state and drive it back. This was from a nearby dealership and it’s a ‘26 with the spec I wanted so it worked out.

That is a good-looking Braptor! That colour combo is very nice!. DO THA RINGS! No point in having code Orange if you are not going to run the code!

Plus, if you do not like it, you can always put the other ones back on. I think you will really like the code orange on it.

I wasn't aware the Keyless Entry was available on the BRaptor. Mine's a late Dec '25 build optioned out, and it didn't have the Keyless Entry. I purchased the slim pad and had it paint matched.

Your entry ramp from photo looks extremely tight. Hopefully it's well heated for the Winter snow & water... that would be pucker moment sliding down that ramp in Winter.

Congrats on the Braptor! Definitely a tight squeeze in the parking. That will ensure you aren't drinking and driving!

I'll be the first one to say it... DON'T put the orange rings on. The gray ones look perfect. When you get a chance, peel the goofy decal off the side of that beautiful Braptor. It will look 10x cooler without it.

I had my rings powdered coated, but it matches the body. I do think the orange rings look good on any other color. Also, peel of the graphics, youll like it better without.

Ended up installing the orange rings. My kids really like it, but I’m still warming up to them. They also like the graphics, so I’ll leave those on for now. I never liked graphics or stickers on cars, but they seem to suit the Braptor well, especially this subtle avalanche color. Because racetruck? lol. We’ll see how long they last for me…
