Haha, same. Most videos only showed how to remove, with only 1 or 2 attempting to sort of tell you how to reinstall. It was enough for me to figure it out though. It crossed my mind for a moment to make a proper video for re-install but didn't care THAT much after being drenched in sweat from...
Paint matched door handles and mirror caps. Should have came from the factory this way.
Reinstalling the handles took a few tries, but eventually figured out the lock mechanism and am now an expert 😆.
Added the Skanda molle tailgate storage system from Ford’s website. It’ll be used to hold all of the dogs toys, tethers, leashes, water bowls, bags, etc. Seems well made and sturdy enough for what we plan to use it for. Ties in well with the Canvasback rear cabin protection.
Cracked 1000 miles so had the wifey execute its initial oil change and first engine bay detail since picking it up last month.
Installed the Autostop eliminator for peace of mind and Canvasback cargo liner protection for the dogs. Went with black and red stitching to get close to the factory...
How was the sink adaptor setup? I’ve always wondered if it gave enough pressure.
@MJ12 yeah, probably one of the simplest solutions, 3 or 4 water buckets and 1 soapy water bucket with your sponges.
DIY car wash locations. Some say no bucket wash, but I’d go during slow hours so I wouldn’t upset anyone for taking too long. It was always empty early morning 6 am or evening around 7 pm.
Nice! I asked them to match my Granger Ford build offer which was in the $66k OTD price range. They said $67k because you still need to travel out there to get it. Hence the reason I walked.
Just need to locate the right dealer. I got a local Houston dealer down to $67,100 OTD a few weeks ago on a new Wimbledon White 60th. What’s funny, I went 5 miles down the road and the next dealership wouldn’t budge from MSRP + tax on theirs.
Purchased ours a few weeks ago in Houston and got $9,100 removed. $89,950 sticker (Nov 2025 build w/ 25 miles on the ticker) and got them down to $80,850 + tax and fees. $86,500 OTD. Used my own local bank for financing.
That should be your bar.
Prior to accepting this deal, I was receiving...
Gotta give it to you for going all in even when things didn’t look good halfway through. You pulled off the look you wanted without the commitment, good work!
Enjoy.
Boom! Pastel Sand. It’s actually not too far off 😄.
I knew I had to get the correct vehicle on the first try or else we’d be doing this all over again soon when she gets bored.
@DarkL1ghtn1ng thank you! Congrats on your recent purchase as well, we’re definitely already enjoying it. I still have my ‘17 GT350, it’s a keeper 😁.
We just registered on the Bronco Roadeo site and waiting for approval once they verify the Raptor purchase. I’ll see what dates look good and...
Nice group over at Cavenders in Columbus. We drove out there and tried to get a deal done last year, but wasn’t able to make it happen.
The new 60th Anniversary deal that was offered was solid and that came from Mac Haik Ford. Salesman, Nathan Wood, is a straight shooter, easy to work with...
