Just swapped my OBX grille for the new modular grille. It comes in layered pieces so went with matching antimatter blue for the surround/perimeter, gloss black for the middle sections and then antimatter blue for the last pieces of horizontal trim bars. Kept the letters white. Effectively all the inner workings/vented areas are gloss black with the outer facade pieces being blue.

I wouldn’t really justify the cost - it’s 900 plus custom paint. Some guy backed into me and came out pocket for repairs. The stock OBX grille was like 850 and then they charge 150 for the letters. The OBX grille is also primed so you need to paint regardless. Going with the modular grille which came with the letters actually saved the guy a few bucks, but wouldn’t have done this myself for the cost. Anyway, nice new look. Like anything antimatter you need the correct amount of sun to differentiate between black and blue but what does stand out in person is the reflective AMB flake sparkle across the face of the truck.

I had commented on your other thread when you were looking for direction/opinion. I think it turned out great. Certainly an improvement over the stock OBX grill. When it comes to costs, it will always be pricey ordering paint to match parts.

Very nice .... and light years better than the factory BB/OBX grill.

Looks great. Going a similar route with a Base grille.
