2024 Wildtrak (SASQ) HOSS 3.0 with Eibach HOSS 3.0 Pro-Lift-Kit Springs needs a 1.5 lift in rear due to load

Sure, so on road behavior has been smooth without stiffness.

Originally, with my OE Fox set up, going over a large speed bumps (which I loved flying over), the Bronco wouldn't even realize there was a bump. But, as soon as I put the Eibach rear springs in, not thinking, I flew over these speed bumps on a side street, and on my goodness, a bit harsh and I was a little bummed out for a split moment. BUT, literally just a few weeks ago after filling up the gas tank, I was going down the same side street, and not thinking, i was about to fly over the first speed bump, but it was a bit to late to hit the brakes, so I decided to just let it ride, and I was absolutly shocked to realize the Eibachs have broken in, not exactly as smooth as the Fox springs, but holy crap, like night and day from the day I installed them. The lift is still the exact same as the day I installed them, so I was happy to see they were so much smoother going over the speed bumps, and these speed bumps on this side street are no joke, I have to go over them in my other cars once in awhile at around 10MPH, in the bronco, 40ish lol, you might say I am crazy , but the speed limit on this street is 35, not sure who can go over these speed bumps at 35 and not loose their front bumper!!!

I honestly haven't had to time to hit a trail since the install, I have been so busy with my daughters senior year, recovery from her ACL surgery and also keeping her ready physically and mentally, as she will be playing soccer at the college level.

But knowing how the rear is riding now vs day one, I am pretty sure I am going to be pretty pumped the way she handles the terrain. I will keep you posted!

Thanks for the update, I’m running the zone and Fox Hoss also. If my rear starts to sag I want to have an idea on how the replacement springs are working for others. Mush appreciated.

I know this is an older thread but I wanted to comment on your Bronco adamruiz2001. I think you've got the perfect setup and I might just do the same. I might add the Boss Walker swaybar end links and call it good. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the input and your right in part though I love the stance of the other poster. I was told by FOUST, and eibach that adding a top hat spacer would cause issues with geometry and other parts needed replacement due to stress like tie rods and UACs. I was told by ebiach today that I should have ordered the HD springs as the load for the kit is only for stock but with all the other weight which is similar to the other poster approx 250 in skid plates and then MOLLE panels and half-roof rack putting me at around 350. The HD has a rated load for 500 lbs and this would make the ride cushy but keep the height advertised. I wish I could just add spacers that the shop is researching for but may have to gow with the others recommendation and get the HD. Its odd that the oage for eibach HOSS 3 lift kit pro has no weight info and the HD's look like they are just for people that want to do either the front or back instead of the whole thing. So frigging user friendly page was a little misleading. I spent 1700 to get thes bad boys installed based of crap info lol. Both 4wheel parts and I fell into that trap. They have been so helpful but I'm a little pissed at how eibach has handled it saying you bought it through them so go through them even though they sent 4wheel an open box with mismatched springs to start and had to get temp coilovers over the weekend that killed my back. lol Any other sugs are welcome!!!

Curious, what’s your overall weight when loaded (if you’re 350 empty)? I’m always interested in whether people are paying attention to the Bronco GVWR (or not) and how that figures into their calculus of lifts and loads.

I have talked with zone on the best set up for my 22 wildtrak with HOSS 3.0

Right now, with all the things I have added to my bronco, steal rear bumper, full skids, full roof rack, artic shelf, tailgate table and hammer built tailgate system, it sits about level, maybe slightly lower in the rest, but not noticable, so installing the zone 2.25 kit would have me sitting higher in the front then the rear, and I didn't want that. So the zone tech either recommended a coil over system (pricey), or a spring replacement on top of the spacer that comes in their kit. They mention the eibach springs, but he didn't recommend the HD spring unless I had at least 500lbs of load at all times, saying it would ride harsh without that load. He recommended the use of the rear spring that comes in their Pro-Lift-Kit, this spring is described to lift the rear 1.3", possibly less with my added weight, but softer and better riding than going with the HD spring.

So today I reached out to eibach to purchase the rear spring pair only from the Pro-Lift-Kit, part number F31-35-056-01-RA. They charged me $99 a spring plus $20 to ship FedEx, should have them next week.

I am going with exactly what the zone tech and I came up with, I will proceed to install the zone 2.25 kit front and rear, while also changing the rear spring with the non HD eibach spring, if our math works out, It should be very close to level, but with a lift.

I will keep y'all updated on the results.

I am going down the same rabbit hole, I have 50k on my fox's and with all the weight I added it kind of gets sketchy. If I accelerate hard and something starts undulating one side it kind of goes back and forth almost like it's dealing with trailer sway. It actually kicks on the anti sway traction control if it gets too gnarly. I plan on taking the fox's off and getting rebuilt and potentially revalved by my local shock guy and putting on stock badlands shocks in the interim. I am really curious if the fox's are toast already or if I am just in a shit ride zone with the weight.

It seems based on all I have read my ideal setup will be the zone kit and HD springs in the rear. I am absolutely hitting the 500lb limit (possibly more) with the setup as is.

Yes, that is correct. And if you have all the added weight on your truck all the time, then they would recommend the HD rear springs to help get your lost ride height back.

You ever got on a scale with a full load? Just curious.

What is stock spring weight and or spring rate of the standard Eibach springs? Curious what the difference in weight has to be to justify HD springs which I am assuming are 500lb.

I have not, mostly because fully loaded for a big trip is pretty rare. I do need to get it on the scales just for the every day load though.

Yeah, if you’re getting side-to-side sway like that you’re likely blowing over the GVWR significantly. I’d want to know a number, how much weight you’re carrying (loaded and not), and then target the springs/shock solution accordingly. God forbid you have to swerve while loaded up driving at 50 mph.

Yeah that's the plan. I know eventually the fox's will get replaced too but for now I will make do with adjusting the spring rates.
