Dobinsons has a sway bar drop kit for this issue. They also sell a diff drop bracket. I also recall one owner installed the Boss Walker links on his Bronco and he seemed happy. To me, the Boss Walker links act like Toyota's KDSS, which is a very good system.
Coolcontractor,
It seems I'm always late to the party but could you post a photo of your Bronco with the 1.5 inch perch collars? I have a 2025 Badlands sasquatch HOSS 3.0 and would like to use the Foutz 1.5 inch collars in front and back. I'm curious as to how it looks and how much actual lift...
"Bilstein 1500s, upper arms, tie rods, diff drop, relocation brackets."
Looks perfect! Nice job adding the other components along with the lift. I'll bet it handles really good on and off road.
I'd say it's primarily the angle or lack thereof. My recent trip to Alberta, Canada destroyed my windshield from the on-coming snow plows and semi trucks. One crack came from a semi that was 4 cars ahead of me in the adjacent #2 lane on a multi-lane highway. I saw the rock hit the road 3 times...
Once you remove the factory lift component in the rear it will look great. I read all of the comments here and it seems there is a misunderstanding about your lift.
This is an actual full suspension lift. This kit comes with crossmembers and lift knuckles. With these components, the factory...
I know this is an older thread but I wanted to comment on your Bronco adamruiz2001. I think you've got the perfect setup and I might just do the same. I might add the Boss Walker swaybar end links and call it good. Thanks for posting.
11Bronco,
I've thought about doing the same thing due to the squat associated with eibach springs. It could be done but the amout of unloaded rake produced is in question. I've also thought about purchasing OME spacers shims to dial in the rear height after installing the springs.
Another...
Great write up on your mods. I particularly liked the light display from the driver's pov. My last trip to Moab taught me the importance of overhead lights when running the hills at night, especially when going down steep hills.
This is exactly what I'm looking for. On my way to Canmore, AB, Canada from Idaho, my hard top started vibrating above my head when the wind hit it at a certain angle above 70mph. I wasn't sure what caused it at first, but I understand now. I might get a small strip of clear vinyl wrap to place...
RWizzy,
I knew the backgrounds in your photos looked familiar when I first saw them. I think Canada has the better half of North America, especially western Canada.
I really like your setup. I'm debating gold/bronze wheels on my white bronco. I was hesitant at first, but they don't look bad. Also, is that a Central Asian Shepherd/Alabai in the back seat? If so, those are awesome dogs. If not, it's still a nice dog.
I realize this is an old thread, but I'm interested in this same lift for my 2025 4dr Bronco Bandlands with sasquatch package and HOSS 3.0 suspension. How is the lift holding up? Did the lift settle in and lower slightly? I'm not looking for much lift, just a 1 - 1.5 inch lift front and back.
Just bought him about 3 weeks ago. 2025 Bronco Bandlands 4dr 2.7L with sasquatch package, black appearance package, Lux package, HOSS 3.0 2.5 Fox shocks, 5% tint all around, and a roof rack carrier. Much more to come.
I'm in Ada County as well. I was in southwest Georgia before Idaho. Like many states, the most populated areas never really capture the full culture of that state. I don’t even recognize Ada County anymore. Nobody waves or says hi now. I can almost feel the hostility on and offroad, it's...
You could move to Idaho and learn about our new license plate law that our legislators passed, as if we didn't have more pressing matters.
Ok, here goes...if your vehicle doesn't have a front plate mounting bracket on it, then no front plate is needed. If you have a bracket, then you must have...
If someone waves at you, then wave back regardless of vehicle type. In my neck of the woods, we wave with our pointer finger while our hand rests on top of the steering wheel. If you get this one finger (not middle finger) wave, its a compliment.
