I am torn between the Eibach HD springs or the Zone Offroad lift for Hoss 3.0 Bronco's. I am nowhere near level since I installed a winch. The HD springs might take the rear shocks outside the ride zone when I'm not loaded down. The Zone kit has pucks but is supposed to keep the shocks tuned. I've been pondering this for months.

A '23 has the Fox's, right? Do they have a "ride zone", per say? I thought that was a Bilstein PSD or Position Sensitive Damping thing. I don't know, maybe the Fox internal bypass is a similar situation?

They are position sensitive. There is a post where someone said the HD springs put his shocks above the ride zone into the rebound zone. I have added the missing bash plates and a lot of other things, but still have the plastic bumper. The Zone lift is engineered to be a companion to the Fox shocks.

@Phil B, good to know. I thought that was specific to the Bilsteins. Our '22 2dr WT had Bilsteins (swapped to Eibach Pro Truck 2.0), '24 4dr WT has Fox. I wouldn't mind a little lift on the 4 door, so that could come into play.

I have talked with zone on the best set up for my 22 wildtrak with HOSS 3.0

Right now, with all the things I have added to my bronco, steal rear bumper, full skids, full roof rack, artic shelf, tailgate table and hammer built tailgate system, it sits about level, maybe slightly lower in the rest, but not noticable, so installing the zone 2.25 kit would have me sitting higher in the front then the rear, and I didn't want that. So the zone tech either recommended a coil over system (pricey), or a spring replacement on top of the spacer that comes in their kit. They mention the eibach springs, but he didn't recommend the HD spring unless I had at least 500lbs of load at all times, saying it would ride harsh without that load. He recommended the use of the rear spring that comes in their Pro-Lift-Kit, this spring is described to lift the rear 1.3", possibly less with my added weight, but softer and better riding than going with the HD spring.

So today I reached out to eibach to purchase the rear spring pair only from the Pro-Lift-Kit, part number F31-35-056-01-RA. They charged me $99 a spring plus $20 to ship FedEx, should have them next week.

I am going with exactly what the zone tech and I came up with, I will proceed to install the zone 2.25 kit front and rear, while also changing the rear spring with the non HD eibach spring, if our math works out, It should be very close to level, but with a lift.

I will keep y'all updated on the results.

Well I added the wench to the front and it leveled it back out. Before, my rear was squatted maybe an inch lower than the front. Now my concern is if I added a spring kit to my HOSS 3.0, my rear will be squatted again. I say this because a lot of kits focus on leveling, or more lift in the front than rear. Maybe I can do Eibach kit and then a small collar in the rear to raise it up slightly to level it back out.

This is exactly why I focused on only replacing the rear spring with the non HD eibach spring. Time will tell if this setup works as we think it should.

I was able to get everything installed over the weekend. Very happy with how it turned out, I have about a 0.685" of rake, my math was 0.5", so it was pretty dang close!

Install wasn't to bad, took my time, did the front on Saturday, and rear on Sunday. The front rides the same, just no crazy nose dip when braking, and the rear feels the same, nice and smooth, takes rough roads and speed bumps with ease.

Getting her in for a alighment on Tuesday.

Before and After shot.

So with all said and done, what did your front amount of lift end up being? Was it what they said it would be? I don’t have added weight so I was going with the Zone 3” kit with the control arms.

Anybody ever get in any experience specifically with the Eibach HD rear springs on the HOSS 3 Fox shocks? I currently have the standard Eibach spring kit installed.

Starting to squat in the rear now...

How long have the Eibach’s been installed?
Spare tire a 35” still, looking for general reference to rear weight load you have.

I've got weight...its not due to spring loss. I am still stock tire on back. Then plus an additional consistent 200lbs on the top/rear. Then actually load in camping gear, fridge, etc...squat.

Standard spring progression is clearly initially softer. Curious how HD sits...

I had some serious rear squat after the spring install until I put a winch on. Then I leveled out at a 1 inch lift all around.

Hi, can you give an update on how the ride quality has been since the rear spring change? On and off-road if possible.
Thanks.

Sure, so on road behavior has been smooth without stiffness.

Originally, with my OE Fox set up, going over a large speed bumps (which I loved flying over), the Bronco wouldn't even realize there was a bump. But, as soon as I put the Eibach rear springs in, not thinking, I flew over these speed bumps on a side street, and on my goodness, a bit harsh and I was a little bummed out for a split moment. BUT, literally just a few weeks ago after filling up the gas tank, I was going down the same side street, and not thinking, i was about to fly over the first speed bump, but it was a bit to late to hit the brakes, so I decided to just let it ride, and I was absolutly shocked to realize the Eibachs have broken in, not exactly as smooth as the Fox springs, but holy crap, like night and day from the day I installed them. The lift is still the exact same as the day I installed them, so I was happy to see they were so much smoother going over the speed bumps, and these speed bumps on this side street are no joke, I have to go over them in my other cars once in awhile at around 10MPH, in the bronco, 40ish lol, you might say I am crazy , but the speed limit on this street is 35, not sure who can go over these speed bumps at 35 and not loose their front bumper!!!

I honestly haven't had to time to hit a trail since the install, I have been so busy with my daughters senior year, recovery from her ACL surgery and also keeping her ready physically and mentally, as she will be playing soccer at the college level.

But knowing how the rear is riding now vs day one, I am pretty sure I am going to be pretty pumped the way she handles the terrain. I will keep you posted!

I hope this helps, have a great weekend! 🍻
