I am very curious on why the manual recommends not using the extension on the rear - it's not needed but manual said 'Do Not Use' instead of 'not required'...
Maybe an attempt to remove one variable? Also scissors jacks have more mechanical advantage the more they're extended. So not using the extension would make it easier to jack up the Bronco.

My original Jack got mangled helping a broken Gladiator on a trail. Bought a second used off eBay. The jacks work on a Sasquatch. The best fix for jacking issues might be replacing the Goodyears. :)
