Take one for the team and stopped getting your Bronco serviced!
I have 1 visit left under warranty. Hopefully no new recalls pop up after that visit. Rest assured, all oil changes will be done in the driveway after my last visit.

Saw the same post, but you left out some of the photos. That guy was showing different harnesses beyond the loom in front of the radiator fans. When looking at all of the photos, it seemed apparent to me that it was rodent damage which is what @Ducati1098 concluded.

Want to make sure you're aware, you're allowed to change your own oil while under warranty.

Maybe we should all just not service our broncos, then we won’t have to worry about any more recalls 🤣

While we are at it let’s listen to ford and do 10k mile oil change intervals that’s probably why we have so many recalls cause we are doing 3k-5k intervals 🤣

I still need to take my Bronco in for the following: engine valve inspection, seat bolts, rear shock reservoir, low pressure fuel pump, and now the engine compartment wiring harness. It's frustrating, you get a recall notice, but there is no remedy, so you wait. Then another recall get issued, and may a remedy for the first recall is ready, but I keep waiting for remedies so perhaps, if I'm lucky, I can get them all done at the same time. But no....another recall is around the corner. This wiring harness is interesting, it affects Broncos over five years? Crazy.
The fuel pump one is the one that bothers me the most. A summer or two ago, I was going down the highway at 65 or so during the summer and I lost acceleration and had to drift to the side of the highway. Turned off and back on and it was ok. Had a similar thing happen in my driveway. Luckily it hasn't happened since.

I get it. But that FB post was showing numerous harnesses with frayed wiring. This recall is focusing on a friction point where there isn't adequate protection.

I surmise the fix will only be to inspect, wrap the harness and zip tie it away from the friction point for the majority. For the few that actually have damage to the wires caused by the friction point, then the fix will certainly be more involved. But I don't see Ford replacing the entire harness.

Flames from the passenger side of the engine compartment

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2026/RCLRPT-26V468-6532.pdf

"On June 18, 2026, Ford’s Critical Concern Group (CCRG) opened an investigation to review fire events on 2021-2026 model year (MY) Bronco vehicles to combine existing investigatory workstreams.

During these investigations, the CCRG identified similarities in certain fire events on 2021-2026MY Bronco vehicles in which some customers observed smoke in the air vent and flames from the passenger side of the engine compartment while driving. Further analysis of these incidents revealed evidence that at least some of the fires originated in the passenger side of the engine compartment. CCRG’s investigation identified seven Bronco Raptor fires and eight base Bronco fires that may have started in the passenger side of the engine compartment.

CCRG investigated potential root causes for fires originating at this location and found that relative movement between the engine compartment wiring harness and surrounding components and insufficient abrasion protection on the wiring harness can lead to exposure of wiring. After internal harness wires are exposed, intermittent shorts can create arcing and potentially ignite nearby flammable components. Inspections of over 80 Bronco vehicles found evidence of rubbing or chafing on the engine compartment wiring harness covering in a small number of the inspected vehicles"
