Im not arguing that the tank is taller, but this is not a new problem with the Bronco. i installed a 55 gallon in f350, that tank was taller, longer and wider. the DTE is still representative, in the f350 if i get 10mpg with a 55 gallon tank i should have ~550 miles at the upper most range of the float, and when the float reads 1/2 then i should have ~275 miles. now at the extreme ends of the thow there will be variations and i can live with as all things DTE it is approximate
Hmmm. We don't seem to be on the same wavelength here....

Was your F350 tank able to be set to an aftermarket size? I'm reasonably sure that when a vehicle has a factory option for a larger tank (which I'm sure the F350 does), then there will be a seting for it. For Ford it's FORScan.

Regardless, I suspect that your F350 tank is probably closer to factory height at the float than the FK.

Again, that's the primary issue with the FK, it is both taller/deeper and thus the float is not correct topped out NOR nearer to empty when we are concerned with DTE. Again, prior posts, in the other long thread have shown that the FK is far from accurate at both full and as far as DTE goes.
