Compressing the springs will be much easier if you can get three compressors on there vs. just two. IMO it would be much easier to pull them off the truck to swap springs.
My intention is to compress the springs with it on the truck, and then pull the whole coilover off the truck to actually replace the spring. Then the spring will already be compressed and I don't need to crank down on the spring compressors 1 by 1. I definitely intend on using 3 compressors as just using 2 sketches me out lol.

Uggghhh. I am on a trip right now and felt the rear end of the Bronco bouncing around today and had a look at my rear driver looks to be leaking oil just like this post. I was wondering if anyone else had had the issue, so this is helpful. Annoying as I replaced my blown stock Badlands suspension with these before the recall was announced and now these have blown as well. I'll get photos tomorrow.

The struts they sent me as replacements ended up being loaded struts just like I requested - so you shouldn't have any issues. They have a 1,000,000-mile warranty. Sucks that they need to be replaced, but I honestly feel pretty taken care of by their team. They asked me to send them the old shocks to be looked at to see how they failed so they can improve in the future. I assume that's them actually taking the shocks and rebuilding them, but who knows, maybe they actually are looking to see how they failed to improve their product. I will say, the new struts have a different wiper at the piston area, so maybe it's indeed been improved since last year when I bought my originals.

Paired Eibach springs (heavy ones for the rear). I'll reach out - I bought them through a Canadian drop shipper so I have to figure out the warranty process.

I unfortunately blew all four of my Eibachs Pro Truck 2.0s with HD springs recently. Worked through Panda, who was great, and Eibach sent loaded replacements (standard springs unfortunately). My truck ('22 2-door WT with lots of added weight) runs trails very near max curb weight. I also recently replaced the stock SAS Goodyears with 35" Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs on OEM SAS wheels. That added about 19 lbs of unsprung weight at each corner. I noticed the shocks were blown after driving about 30 miles of rough and washboard forest service roads. I think the heavy truck with the heavy tires is just too much for the 2" shock body under those brutal conditions and I suspect they over heated. I'm pretty tame driving and generally drive slow speed trails, but I do tend to have a number of gentle top out and bottom out situations every time I go out, which probably didn't help the shocks.

I'm going to try the stock Bilstein HOSS 2.0 shocks with Eibach HD replacement springs until I can figure out a long term suspension replacement. Has anyone tried the Eibach replacement heavy springs on the OEM Bilsteins?

My rears have some but not quite to this extent. I was hoping it was just road grime 😬

Getting a lil concerned.

Awww heck. I'm about to have a shop install those coilovers (non-HD) and tires.

I loved them, I really do. They will probably be good on your truck. I think I was just asking too much of them. Like I said, I'm probably a hundred pounds over max curb weight on the trails, and I think the heavy tires on those roads running 30, 40 mph for 30 miles just roasted them. I'm heavy and definitely needed the HD springs. But even at a weight closer to stock, I don't think the HD springs would feel harsh. With mine, I nearly collapsed the first stage on the rear spring, and what was left of that first stage just made the truck feel sloppy.

I've been working to keep my Bronco's weight down. I'll probably have over four hundred 360 extra pounds of sprung weight when I'm done, plus 85 pounds of new unsprung weight. Think I'll go for the HD springs after all.

I suspect you'll be happy with that, particularly if you have weight up high on a rack. I did not measure, but from what I can tell I maintained close to factory rake, about +2” of lift in the rear at the lowest setting, and about +2” in the front up about 5/16" on the threads. Mines a 2-dr/V6/Auto '22 WT so it's not a great comparison. It lists lighter than yours stock, but I'm sure replacing the plastic bumpers, winch, adding RCI slider/steps, roof rack, SFR skids, and my DIY rear seat delete more than made up the pounds. The dump scales showed it at 5,620 pounds with my full figured ass, no passenger or gear, and a 1/4 tank of gas. I'm likely over weight by 0-350 pounds with some combo gear, gas, wife, and dogs.

Definitely sounds like you're in need of something with an external reservoir that can help keep up with keeping the fluid cool! Best of luck, would love to hear how your choice ends up working :)
