Hard Top Cracking - Warranty / Recall of all MY’s

I just took my 2024 OBX in for cracking issue. Service tech handed me the recall notice for the 2021-2022 vehicles and said that Ford is going to be issuing a recall for all MIC hard tops regardless of model years. Expecting this to be available in November. Anyone else been told this?

No, this is only for MIC tops

Why doesn't some aftermarket supplier pick up on this? Too tough in the making?

UPDATE. Dealership got approval to replace hardtop. However , they need the Bronco for 2 days to do the job. I did t realize that they will take all of the old parts (glass, back windshield, etc.) and swap them into the new hard top. Is this the normal procedure?

Yes, for mine it was.

Yes, totally normal. May want to double check(if you haven’t yet)with svc adv to be sure they ordered the correct interior liner. Otherwise you’ll have to wait another day or 2 for them to get that. How do I know?? Ya it may save you some time without your rig!
