I seriously doubt ford is going to do a v8 there’s a massive amount of fab work to shoehorn the 5.0 in there being its a modular engine and ridiculously wide imo I think it would be more likely that they use the 3.5 ecoboost possibly the HO from the f150 raptor just seems more likely, unless mopar scared them with stuffing v8’s in everything in the next 4 years including srt variants
EDIT: See post correcting my foolishness by @Ducati1098 below.... Already been made clear the Coyote won't fit in the Bronco. Thinking they'd go in a different direction for a V8, so look in the truck line.

The 3.5 would be great on power, but we want sound to boot!

I'm just commenting and I serving that I've owned a few (5) Mustangs and the engine bay on the Bronco seems as wide and deep ... if not more so.

I really don't understand why people continue to say the coyote wont fit in the bronco when it's been done multiple times now with what looks like very little, to no major fabrication.. lol

The 3.5 ecoboost may be worse in reality because the turbos aren't as tucked into the engine as the 2.7/3.0. I'd be willing to bet the 3.5 turbos would be extremely close to the shock towers and potentially completely in the way of the steering shaft of the Bronco.

... but they stuff a coyote in a Mustang.
🤷‍♂️🤔
Last time I looked under there, it is already "stuffed" with the 2.7 as is. There is plenty of power for a Bronco with the turbos. I would not suggest someone running a brick on 37s around town or freeways with a Coyote engine.....just sayin. Yes fun, not functionable.
As fun as it sounds, just buy a Mustang. Lol
As for the Filson, I do believe it is well planned and timed. I love the function and fashion aspect and the fact that they did drop a 3.0 in it.......well played. I have a BL with all the trim and function, and happy with it. If I was to leave or replace it, the Filson is it!

As an older guy who like to adventure, yet drive this thing everyday, and want to enjoy it. This new option by Ford, is welcomed and appreciated. They have filled a niche.

I like it...like its looks and purpose a lot. However for me the Raptor is more for me right now. Nice job Ford....should make Land Rover Defenders/ Lexus GX550 buyers take a look I would think unless those buyers only buy for name prestige.

Undecided
Simple post-mortem on the Stroppe: 1) +99% of buyers have no idea who Bill Stroppe was. Too ’enthusiast’ for the marketplace, no bump for the brand association, and 2) most people willing to pay +$75K for a vehicle don’t want to drive around in a red, white and blue billboard. Don’t get me wrong — it’s cool. I liked it. Almost bought one. But the paint not only didn’t appeal to me, it made me say ‘no thanks’. I’m not a ‘hey look at me’ guy, and I’m guessing I’m not the only one.

The Filson trim solves both those problems, but not the overall lack of appeal (for most buyers) of the 2DR. For Ford to continue to make any 2DR Broncos it will be for the cool factor (which IS marketing) and not the revenue stream.
Probably should get your eyes checked. There is no red on a Stroppe. The color even has a name. That name is Code Orange.

My eyes are fine. It’s the Ford color-naming guys who need an exam. 😎

Anyone know of a similar tire cover like that? I like the color-matched style, would like to get that minus the "filson" part.
I know the 60th anniversary version had the same thing in white (minus FILSON)...I wonder if they'll offer it as an accessory at some point?

Does it really with no issues?

If it does fit without much worry, that would be ideal as that engine is well known, loved, and sounds sublime.

The Coyote 5.0 is an all time wet dream of a motor! :)

But then how does it work for all the people that have already done it?
Very good question; does it "really" work in this 6G platform? If so, I'm currious why it isn't in the Braptor thus far.

As stated before, there may be issues with geometry of where parts such as the turbos set, where heat is concentrated or if the trany cases and Bronco components can handle it.

I'm all for more power! I just suspect there may be issues with trying to fit and function the Coyote into it. I'm happy with the 2.7, but would take a 3.0 if available. hehehe

If they were to put the Coyote in the BRaptor, who's to say they'd also include the turbos. The Coyote is already putting out about 480 horsepower in stock form, which is above what the BRaptor is putting out now.

If room is a concern for turbos, they could always supercharge it. My Roush Mustang with the second gen Coyote is rated at 727 hp with stock internals. Roush simply plopped a supercharger on top, boosted the fuel pump, changed spark plugs and tuned it. They also added heavy duty half-shafts along with lowering and stiffening the suspension. The torque on that car is effortless and intoxicating. It demands respect and a judicious right foot, especially on cold tires or it will bite you. Later model Roush Mustangs are well into the mid-700 horsepower range.

The new supercharged Mustang Darkhorse SC is estimated to have horsepower between 760 - 815 hp, but I'm not certain if the internals have been upgraded.

On the Braptor, depending on clearance, it may need a different hood if supercharged, but that stock engine can handle a lot of power that Ford left on the table.

Will the defrost connector covers on the tailgate window be included on all Broncos moving forward, or is this a "special feature" unique to the Filson edition?
Our '25 has them.
