It's interesting that I cannot find any information online about this pending recall. The only source of it is this forum. All searches lead to this post. I realize this was a letter sent to Ford dealers, but you wuld think some other source would have it by now.

How quickly does Ford update the website for recalls? My VIN still isn’t showing the seat bolt recall. It’s a 2025

I wonder what the symptoms are? I have a 23' but when the engine is cold and it is cold outside it sounds like engine pinging but the dealer said there wasn't anything wrong with it...

Is that information available now?
I may have answered my own question by reading the bulletin. I checked on the Ford Pass app and also went straight to the FSA VIN List. Hopefully that is current.

Safe to say if it doesn’t show up then you aren’t affected?

Hell, I still have the low pressure fuel pump recall from LAST July. Remedy still not available. Ford doesn't move all that quick.
Fortunately, fuel pumps never fail. 😊 Oh wait! 👀

Mine was born 10/24 before that bad batch I guess.

I wonder what they adjusted that made it bad. Pros and cons of tweaking engines during a product cycle and shipping them to new models.

My 2019 Ranger 2.3 had problems too they claimed to have addressed for the Bronco.

Talk about a ticking time bomb, catastrophic engine failure may result in seat ejection. :ROFLMAO:

Tom
Funny you said ticking time bomb, that🏆 has already been lifted by the 3.6 Jeep 🤣

What is the VIN range of the 1704 affected, if any one knows that?
