Hate to admit it, but I have no idea what Filson is.

You are probably better off for it.... It used to be a regional high end brand... It really was high end products that were commensurate with the price... Now it is just a high priced brand. Like everything else... When there is a reputation to take advantage of someone will come in and really take advantage.

Hey, why don't we instead offer 2-door models across the board including the Heritage, restore the drivetrain options across the board, offer the Everglades trim once more with a 2.7L option, restore the Wildtrak trim and replace ehe new gloss black hardtop with the correct gray MIC, and add a Tremec manual transmission option for the 2.7L ?

while I love the ideas you have... Obviously those changes attract you and me as well... BUT the "Filson" targets another group that is influential with mall moms and others that tend to spend a lot of money..... I hope they address the options you listed.... but in this case Ford is chasing the money.... I only hope Ford recognizes that they need us... without us that other market is not there to chase. We have to be here, know what our Broncos can do and use them..... That allows the "got to have the best thing everyone else wants" crowd to even consider the Bronco... and it has to be a "Better than you have" model... that quite frankly you or I find over priced for what it offers....

Think about it... that hard cover for the spare is a glowing indicator of the target market for this thing. AND it will probably have it's own special color... Probably the "Forrest Service Green" to make it unique and so everyone can see what it is at a distance.... Just sayn....

I’m not inside the Bronco boardroom, but it doesn’t take a whole lot of deduction to guess the changes they’ve made are to save costs and maximize revenue. They’re cutting out most 2-doors because the vast majority of buyers want 4. They’ve cut trims based on what’s selling and what’s not. Ditto the manual. They’re keeping the 2DR and the 7MT around for street cred and marketing, even tho they know 80%+ shoppers won’t buy them. Yes, they should get the MIC top right, but they probably won’t if it’s too expensive. They’ll just end-of-life it and transition to painted tops for everyone.

I’m down for a luxury Bronco if it has meaningful luxury improvement. Memory seats, cooled seats, blue cruise, etc… I’d buy one

Memory foam in seats is a great idea.

This is fantastic news !!! I f**cking love filson!!! They are.my go to logging clothes! In fact over half my wardrobe is there quality stuff. I read this thread with my Filson cap on, lol. I WOULD BUY THIS IN A 2DR.

Don't be sad at all, it comes with optional portals, long travel suspension and a v8 from factory so you won't have to re-engineer the bronco for more capability. Might be the one to get if you ask me.

Collabing with the 400$ jacket company might be a way for ford to slap that “heritage luxury upclassed” feel onto the Bronco for it to be just another appearance package with a 5000$ price tag

A $400 jacket company is not luxury at all ...a $4000 jacket is the start point of luxury jackets.

At least the FIAT 500 Gucci edition got you a leather Gucci jacket which is worth around $5K + today haha.

Not quite the parts list I was expecting from that Marshalls.... Now there is the other "Marshalls" that I could expect a lot of noise from...



But with this co-brand I would expect a signifcant upgrade to the B&O system....
