I was quoted $1450 for installing a 2 inch Zone leveling kit:

https://zoneoffroad.com/products/2-...quipped-21-26-ce83b20e?variant=42278354649176

On Zone's website it stated that labor should be 2-3 hours but I was given $840 for the labor. 4 hours just for the front and about 2 hours for the rear.

Is this reasonable? From my research it appears to be front should be easier than 4 hours to do for a shop.

Any inputs would be appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks. I figured 6 hours are on high side for a 4x4 shop.

I would look at Bilstein 5100s so you don't pay twice down the road when you need new shocks in 1-2 years.

$500-600 for install and $100 for an alignment. Its maybe 3 hours for skill mechanic, even less with good power tools.

This ^^^^ best advice. I originally installed a 2" spacer lift, then a year later installed Bilstein 5100s. I ended up just leaving in the spacers when I installed 5100s, in which I also included a trackbar relocation, diff drop bracket and upper control arms. I did the installs myself...I'm by no means a mechanic but understand how things work and have the proper tools....and youtube!

As @swami37 stated, it's about a 3-4 hour job, definitely helps if it's a 2-man job. Rears are easy. The front is the issue as you are dealing with the cv axle. Otherwise, not too bad. Definitely better than paying $1450!

which ones did you go with, if you don't mind my asking? I'm thinking about this so I can move into 35s. are you happy with the difference?

Thanks everyone for your feedbacks. I'm leaning towards having Bilstein 5100s when OE shocks wear out.
