Ordered 4 door base sas Feb ‘22, came in Feb ‘23 (Covid, local dealer).

For my 2 door badlands 2.7, went to Atlanta (350 mile round trip), they tried to screw with me, I walked, they called me back at 6pm the next business day, I drove back (another 350 mile round trip) and got $10k off msrp. (It was new old stock)

Family vacation to Florida from NJ. While there I had vehicle troubles and, fortuitous timing, I got an email alert that the Bronco in NC that was on my watch list had dropped to my buy price.

Cleared it with the wife, called the dealership, bought it 5 days later on our way home, and the wife and I drove the rest of the way in separate vehicles.

90 miles each way. Ordered September 2020, none of the more local dealers would commit to pricing so I ordered up the road with a dealer that would and had no D&H.

EDIT, not that it matters, but I recall the timeline better now: Reserved July 2020 used default dealer, September 2020 changed dealer due to pricing, January 2021 ordered, November 2021 Got It!

70 miles each way.
I had driven several 2.7 at the local dealer but wanted to see how the 2.3 was. Found a dealer with one and it happened to be an Everglades. I had no desire to purchase but the Green looked fantastic and the 2.3 was great, I decided this could be the one so made my offer and a few days later they decided to accept it. Drove back and picked it up.
30k trouble free miles so far.

My wife and I drove 265 miles from Punta Gorda Florida to Lake City Florida and bought a 2024 LOADED Bronco Badlands with sasquatch package this year with less than 4000 miles on it. The women that sold it way under book had worked for a Ford dealer in Florida (so she got a good deal on it) and had just changed jobs (better job/ higher pay ) with a Jeep dealer and they wanted off of their lot. The price made the 530 mile round trip worth the long day. The best part of the trip was when we switched off drivers my wife loved driving the Bronco. We now haggle over who takes the Audi or the Bronco, both wanting the Bronco.

Flew down from New York to Georgia and then drove it home 860 miles so it was in the driveway for my wife and kids to wake up to as her birthday gift.

Had worked everything out ahead of time, so all I needed to do was sign the paperwork and hand over the bank check. I had told the GM I didn't want anything extra and just wanted to be on the road ASAP, so he made a note that I wouldn't have to meet with finance or anyone else. They opened at 09:00am, had me back signing paperwork by 09:10am and I was out at the vehicle doing my walk-around and loading up by 09:25am.

Took me about 13 hours getting home, but pulled into the driveway right around 10:30pm that night.

There's a crap ford dealership at the end of my street (looking at your North County Ford) and at the peak of the dealer markups, i drove 500 miles from San Diego to the SF Bay Area to buy mine with no markup (shout out to Walnut Creek Ford).

Literally 5 minutes away, and that was a key element to why I bought one. I wanted a car brand that can be easily serviced if needed no matter where I am. If I'm in the countryside of eastern NC and have a problem - dealers everywhere. Or, at home here in the DC region - dealers everywhere.

My previous cars (MB), all about a 30 minute drive, and in DC, that can easily become one annoying trip. Or when in NC - it's basically Raleigh.

About a 360 mile round trip in 2022 from Grieco Ford in Delray Beach Florida. Still have pic daughter took on phone on the way home. 67 miles into its life. Was 5 miles on odometer when I picked it up if not mistaken.

I drove about 9 miles to get my Bronco Badlands in 2021. For my 2023 Bronco Raptor I flew up to Michigan Assembly Plant from Florida, about 1,350 miles so I could watch it get built and then took delivery at the end of the line.
