when building a 26 badlands and picking velocity blue, I am wanting either a body matched blue hardtop or shadow black top

the configurator tool does NOT like this. DO you know if this a tool problem or if ford really wont body colour match a blue top to a blue body. Or give the option to put a black top on the blue bodied truck? It will let you put a blue top on a black truck lol so I assume its just the tool

I was playing with the builder last week and came upon this. Why I gave Ford an ounce of doubt and figured it was just another web site glitch is beyond me because they have historically created some of the weirdest color combination options known to mankind. I would to be shocked if what the builder shows is in fact the truth.

Mundane Oxford white….Wimbledon white is the only version Ford should provide as an option.

I am the person who records the scheduling videos for Long McArthur. I have years of understanding the scheduling notes Ford puts out. They are great for this that have orders placed with their dealers and are waiting to get that schedule date for production on their orders.

Yesterday Ford let dealers know that Orange Fury is being discontinuedfor 2026 J2. They are instructing dealers to make changes to the color on all unscheduled and scheduled orders. Yes, you can make changes to orders once they are scheduled as long as the scheduled production date is far enough away. Typically before it gets a schedule to Day.

Deadline is May 1st for the changes. If changes aren't made by then Ford will change all Orange Fury orders scheduled for production to Avalanche Gray. They will not build an Orange Fury Bronco in 2026 model year.

I have decided to keep my 2021 for now since they canceled this color for 2026 which had me on the fence, although still a little yellow for my liking.

Somewhat off topic question, do you have any sense that the 7MT is on the chopping block in the future? Do you all sell many of them?

According to the order guide, which I trust more than build and price, you can get Velocity Blue (Standard), Avalanche, Marsh Gray, or Desert Sand with Velocity Blue exterior. Black Painted is optional on Badlands (requires Black Appearance Package). This would be for 2 door and 4 door.

Do don't tell me anything. I can't get the brand manager to return emails or calls. I usually have to dig and post things when Ford finally tells the dealers. Also, they will never comment on future offerings.

My gut says it will be available next year but I have no information to validate my assumption.

Ford's Rockstars - B&P defaults to a softie 4-dr. The roof option directly below the exterior color choice should be irrelevant in such a set-up. You have to scroll to the bottom to the Roof Options and select the Hard-Top Painted. It then defaults to the body-color up at top.

Even if Oxford White, the white Heritage decals should still be applied.
I'm wondering how the side stripes would look in Race Red, alike the grille-mounted Ford letters.

I was playing with the same configuration today and was able to do velocity blue with shadow black roof by selecting the Black Appearance Package and then found the Body Painted roof option further down in the Roof selections.
