Correct, its an OTA update. Mine is showing completed even on Fords website.

Can you force a software update or do you just have to wait for Ford to send it to your Bronco?

I got the notice yesterday, but it says a software isn’t available yet. I’m not sure if that’s because the older models need more time or they got a fix in sooner than the letter anticipated. I think the letter said June or later. Oddly, though, just as we got home the night before, the Bronco said it was finishing a software upgrade, so maybe I got it—haven’t checked to see what they update was supposed to cover. I never had a blank screen problem before the update, but that’s not the first time I got a recall notice to fix a problem I never had. I never had the windshield wiper issue, either.

I hopped in my Bronco Friday afternoon to go home from work, and as soon as it started I got the notice on my screen that the update was downloaded and applied. I haven't experienced any quirks so far.
