Doors... the AI generated pics seem to allude to either 2 door, or 4 with what looks like rear suicide doors???

I'm betting it is a 4 door like the FJ Cruiser.

My old defender had the factory 3link no track bar...I loved it. @SierraBronco running no bar on his build but his setup is a beast.
I’m pretty sure sierrabronco is a she. If you don’t have a track bar you’re getting all kinds of side to side movement under articulation. I’d like to see it in action if not. 3 links been out for ever and I’ve never seen one without a track bar.
This morning I realized I made an assumption on what three link bronco you guys are referring to. Because we do in fact have a panhard bar on one. I even cut off the factory mount to accommodate something a little different.

I originally wanted to go with a Watts Link ON TOP of the differential. But with the travel goal there wasn’t enough room without extensive frame modifications that would require the body to be lifted out of the way for installation. And we aren’t equipped for that kind of work.

(y) I do recall you have two different builds going. That new mount is stuck out there a bit...to accommodate the dana 60 I presume? Custom built trac bar going in?

Just like reducing axle steer is accomplished via longer links, the way to reduce axle movement is a longer bar. Since the axle is so much wider that gave us plenty of room to accommodate the stretched bar. With 20” of travel we only have a total lateral movement of 1” according to the computer modeling

Tariff on china automakers has historically been low. Much lower than they charged for US imports. Your statement applies to only 2025, in 2026 the tariff was reduced to 25% if I am not mistaken.
Not exactly sure at the moment, but still over 100% on EVs - I found contradicory info on regular cars - some stated 25% but others mentioned that was for auto parts, not vehicles.

Anyway, I'll bow out of this one as I don't want it to turn political. :)

I saw this Jetoo Chinese truck yesterday in Moab. They plan to sell it in Mexico and other countries. It is electric with a 1.5L turbo generator. Has 700lbs of instant torque. Has video cameras all over the outside and inside. When I sat in it, there is a video lens looking at you. The guys there barley spoke English. I asked if the Chinese government can see who is driving and keep track of you. I got a big NO, NO, NO out of him. They said it sells for $18K in China. It likes a $100K car here. It is voice activated. The guy spoke in Chinese to it while I was sitting in it and the lumber support expanded

It's nice and y'all hating just on the brand.

We've got a Hyundai Palisade and as a 2020, way better interior quality than my 2022 Bronco.

With the Bronco, the costs come from things you don't get with other conventional SUVs. And the extra work/engineering of doors off and roof off.

To me, the Boulder body (minus the roof) looks like what the BRaptor SHOULD HAVE DONE for the fenders... Rather than those plastic tubs.

And as for that Honda Passport meets Land Cruiser... Here's more info:

It actually looks good! Kind of like the Toyota FJ... but I heard Hyundai vehicles have engine and transmission issues, so I would never get one.

The numbers get fudged so much it’s hard to sometimes get accurate data.
have a great weekend.
