My new Badsquatch that I purchased on Thursday March 12th is sitting at the dealer with a big sold tag on it. They gave me a F150 STX to drive till I can take delivery. They told me to call them to swap vehicles before I hit 5k miles ( I wont I dont drive that much anymore.) I suspect I will make my first payment before taking delivery. I have already started ordering parts. Rok Bloks, Floor mats, phone holder, hood struts.

I'm in a similar situation with my Badsquatch except purchased on 3/9. Previously had a 2023 Black Diamond that I sold recently and sharing my wife's car until the recall is fixed. Fortunately, we both work from home and don't "need" multiple vehicles. Still looking forward to having my own again though once able to take delivery!

My negotiations with Ford dealers suddenly stopped with this Bronco stop sale and I was told a couple days ago that 2026’s are planned to be remedied by end of March and 2025’s by end of April. The dealer was a bit confused as to why 26’s before 25’s, but it is what it is.

Minor side observation. Bought a 26 built first week of Feb, delivered last week of Feb when I took possession. When this issue first surfaced I saw mine was in recall both on me website/vehicle and my ford app. So I thought makes sense, mine was delivered before stop on sales. Then my app showed no recall, and now website/vehicle account also is free of any recall. Not sure if mine was fixed before delivery or if Ford is still nailing down affected vehicles. Either way, I’m ok if I need to take in or not. But do feel for those waiting on delivery. Seems like Ford should let customers take delivery and then bring in for fix like any other recall. It’s just like a phone or computer update which happen all the time….and this is not life threatening as previously discussed…

The timeline I’ve heard lines up with some of the chatter here: 2026 builds getting the fix package first (target late March) but heard a possible push on the 26th and 2025s following shortly after (April). My understanding is that the 26s are running a slightly newer APIM firmware baseline, so validation on that branch finished first. With mine being a later in the year ‘25 I’m hoping my VIN be able to be in with the ‘26’s

Until Ford publishes the calibration in OASIS and ties it to the recall campaign, the vehicles are basically stuck in stop-sale status even if they’re sitting on the lot ready to go. I’ve been watching my VIN pretty closely and the recall still shows “remedy not yet available.”

That’s not up to Ford. It’s federal law enforced by NHTSA.
Ford would face massive fines if they were to do that.

I miss the days when a truck was just a truck, not a frickin' computer with 4 wheels, some aluminum, bit of fake wood and a drivetrain. The geeks in the Ford software lab better push the fix out fast! I ordered 10/15/25 - delivered to the dealership 03/09/26. Now my poor Badsquatch is sitting there, in that lot for at least 2-3 more weeks. 🤷‍♂️

If you have an extra 30k to drop at your dealer, you could try BUT I doubt they would go for it.

Haha thanksfully I got my NOS '23 lastbsummer while this recall was in wffect with no fix avail for VIN and small town dealer sensibly released to me but there was no effective warranty on the vehicle until after it was done.

I have 23S48 and 26S09. They must of issued an update that is causing this one (26S09) because I have an early 2023 and just two days ago I had my screen go black. The other one (23S48) hasn't happened. Came back the next morning.

Since I was out and about I decided to swing by the dealership. I didn’t catch the service manager, but one of the guys was cool enough to pull a few things up for me in OASIS.

What I saw:
My Bronco: still shows open recall (no surprise there)
A 2026 Bronco: also still showing open recall in OASIS
BUT… a 2025 2.3L Bronco had already been repaired that was associated with 26S09
Sales rep also confirmed they sold a 2025 that was NOT under stop sale

My takeaway:
This doesn’t look like a blanket “model year” release at all. It looks like Ford is clearing these VIN-by-VIN or batch-by-batch, likely based on software/config.

So even within the same model year:
Some VINs are already getting fixed
Some are still stuck in stop sale:confused:

Bottom line:
The fix is definitely rolling out...quietly... it’s just not hitting all vehicles at once. Can anyone else confirm this elsewhere? @Ducati1098 ?

No vehicle has been repaired under 26S09. It’s still advanced notice. The recall cannot be performed and is not available.

I received a mail piece urging me to get this backup camera recall done, i'm not sure if that applies here, but i'm less worried about that and more about the fuel pump recall with no fix that I have open on mine.....lol.
