I just moved my rear camera from the rear windshield to on the xbrace. It solved the vibration issue, but I still feel like the image isnt as clear looking through the windshield from ~1 ft away. I will probably keep it like this until spring.

I did just order a KC lites rear chase light spare tire mount, I will probably move the camera into the middle of that and mount some DD ssc2's on each side for chase lights once it warms up. I will post how that goes once I get around to it.
i had mine outside on my fast intentions rear light bracket. When it rains, i can't see. Also i'm on camera 4 due to water intrusion into the rear camera. Moved it inside, suffering from a bit darker image, but no more water i hope.

I used the same thing, it took some coaxing, but I got it to all fit in there behind the box....
Yeah come spring, I may re-visit the mirror trim box and shoving it all in there or going full send and taking down the entire upper winshield trim and AUX panel to bury it all up there. And those of you that know me have already figured out that's my plan but I'm trying to rationalize myself from taking apart the visors, a-pillars and header trim - but I'm going to anyway. LOL

That's an interesting mount, but unfortunately the 3rd brake light shakes quite a bit. Every little bump and the camera is all over the place. It drove me nuts, which is why I mounted it inside my wheel.
Oof I have a spare mounted license plate - sometimes the I have my hitch mounted cargo carrier loaded with that would go over the bottom part of the spare obstructing the camera - guess I’m going to need to live with the shake lol
I used some 1/4 inch weather stripping to stop it. I have Sasquatch tires so the gap was minimal but enough to bother me. The stripping should be adhesive on both sides, pushed up on the third brake to apply it to that evenly and let it go to rest on the tire. Holds in place perfectly and no more camera shake.

Previously had it mounted to the rear view camera stalk and it was a really nice view though compared to the third brake light. The tire is in the way just a bit and now I need to buy an extension lol!

I put mine on the front for use as a trail camera

How are you guys getting away with all these items and protrusions on your front bumpers, without damaging them or putting dents/holes in other things? I've already used my Bronco to push my Jeep down our driveway, and over the years have pushed other vehicles and things on/off road. Not to mention if you accidentally hit something.

I posted on the Wolfbox forum about the dark image when mounted inside the windshield, and asked if they were planning in adding image/exposure controls for the rear camera. This was their reply:

“We apologize, but currently we do not have a dedicated setting for rear camera exposure. Our technical staff is currently working on adding this feature, and this issue may be resolved through a firmware update in the future.”

I second is this available for purchase? I also have a Raptor and have not found a good spot yet. This looks perfect!

I thought about placing mine there as well. Do you have a picture from the cam itself that you can post showing what the view looks like? I thought that the spare may block too much of the view from that location. TY.
