safecraft also will have a sale Thursday 11/28 - Monday 12/2, all products on the site will be 15% off, no code needed. For those that don't know safecraft is used by professional race teams. Their fire suppression systems are great and their pb3/pb5 extinguishers are nice.

The extinguishers use an agent called Fluoro FS.It is a non-residue, non-conductive agent like Halon 1211, however it does not take the oxygen out of the air like Halon 1211 does.

Darn. Extinguisher is still there. Just the link is broken.

Just search for Amerex A384T. Aircraftspruce.com has a lot of halon and halotron extinguishers too. Just search for extinguishers. I've bought from them before. Their service is excellent.

Might be worth mentioning there is a H3R Performance and H3R Aviation site, both owned by parent company H3R.

The coupon only works at H3R Performance.

Appears product is the same but naming conventions, bottle color/style & pricing is slightly different.

The Halotron 1 agent (A384T or HalGuard) is a better deal at H3R-P using the coupon code. Base price $235 but $188 after 20% off.

The Halon 1211 agent (A344T or HalGuard Pro) is a slightly better deal at H3R-A where base price is $309 vs H3R-P base price of $390 but $312 after 20% coupon.

Visually the H3R-P extinguishers are 😍. It’s not about that but for $3 I would probably bling it, lol. However, I did notice the H3R-A site offers a cert of compliance option for $10. Didn’t see that on H3R-P but I’m guessing that’s an FAA thing being aviation related.

I haven’t compared these prices to the Safecraft option that @Tye mentioned but maybe this helps filter some of it.

Oh yeah and our boy @SierraBronco is a cellebrity on the H3R-P page. 😉

Ford Bronco We BURNED OUR RIG DOWN! (Jk. But could have been bad). Fire extinguisher saves the day. IMG_1759

Ha! No lies detected! I signed up for their email to get 10% off but it didn’t come through. Ordered it anyway and let them know something was wrong with the confirmation email just as a heads up. They refunded the 10% on their own-pretty cool move if you ask me. And a big bag of gummy bears? Well…that would have given them a sixth star.

I love it when companies go above & beyond to make a difference. The money side is nice but honestly customer service sucks so bad these days I just prefer to support those that treat me well.

Not fire or electrical related but as part of my bumper swap I’m installing some frame reinforcements from @MetalTech4x4. They don’t have instructions or videos publicly posted yet and the top bracket is in a bear of a spot. Thought I had it worked out mentally how to do things but decided to send a message on this forum asking if they could confirm or give me any guidance. The owner, Mark, responded and has been fantastic — he even sent an informal video talking through it. This makes a difference! The product is beefy and the price is fair but the customer service sets them apart from their peers and makes me want to buy more and support them where it makes sense.

As long as we're on this sentiment, here's a battery not to buy. I'm starting it at the teardown:

Man-if you only watch up to the tear down you’d be impressed by how the battery performs based on his reactions.

A fellow “Okie” demonstrates how to safely wire up rear accessories 🤣

LMAO!!!

You know it just occurred to me….since moving out of OK I no longer see “truck nuts” on vehicles.

Huge wire nuts is an electrician flipping the bird to everyone else, lol.
