With all the mirrored shapes (two on the grille, wheel arches, side body lines), who did it better?
Same shape, different platform, Brother!

It's uglier than I thought it would be.

I like that it exists, but it’s not for me.
Indeed. The good news it should pull some buyers away that don't even appear to like Broncos but enjoy hanging around and whining about them.

Jesus that's hideous. Looks like they couldn't stop 'designing' it.
First time around Toyota? 😁

OHHH NOOOOO... they gave it the Tacoma / Subaru WRX treatment on the fender trim pieces!!!
Finally true competition for the ugliness of Raptor flares! I guess everyone that argues this is competition was right all along.

One platform can produce different styled vehicles though. This looks like the sheetmetal is interchangeable on half of it. I'm sure they'll sell every one they make, so I know Toyota won't lose sleep over my opinion.
I miss when Ford shared full front clips, sometimes even doors, so this is one area where I like what they're doing. Bronco 2/Ranger, Explorer/Ranger, Bronco/F-Series, F150/Expedition, etc.

I’m just not digging it…it’s not bad, but it looks like a cartoon/AI designed product.

it works on the Tundra, but when you shrink a tundra down, it gets real weird looking.

I hope it has more ground clearance than the new Land Cruiser at 8.3” 😳

I like it. I also like the new Landcruiser. It's going to be interesting how the market share breaks down with the 4Runner, Bronco, Landcruiser and Jeep. You're insane if you argue against Toyota's dependability vs everyone else in the class - but these are newer generations and different motors, so time till tell.
Toyota also has a reputation of not being up to speed with the times as it relates to in-vehicle technology/creature comforts. I suspect as that pendulum swings, reliability may suffer.

I hope I'm wrong, but Toyota has typically been very cautious on not going too far with upgrading technology and instead focusing on reliability - Which frankly, is probably the right approach if you can't do both.
Agree, gotta have reliability. For bad tech, drive a Nissan, lol.

I am curious how Toyota does. There is a balance point in being innovative and old but reliable. They have been the latter for awhile. I expect some hiccups in their new driveline as I would with ANY manufacturer revamping.

Looks wise, it does nothing for me. Actually preferred the prior generation. But honestly, if they are going to murder segment boundaries bring back a refreshed FJ!

Dear auto design experts,

For the love of God, piano black does not belong outside or inside any vehicle. Stop. Just stop!

So, is that it for the reveal? Just the already posted inadvertent release? Didn't know if they're doing an online release and a search doesn't give any link or platform that I can find

Can someone with a better understanding of engineering or… physics explain how those rear doors will open?

The fender trim
And looks like Toyota is regressing on the off road ability with worse approach departure and breakover angles.
But I am sure it will sell well.

I was hoping it would be something that would make Ford improve the Bronco, but I don't think it will.

This would be a hill to die on for some here!
