Call me grumpy old man, but I strongly prefer physical controls for all except two specific cases - navigation UI and on-screen keyboard. Also, the 5gen Expedition is a step backward in terms of overall design not just infotainment.

Just my 2c - CURT kayak carrier. Its on full size roof rack (zroadz), but would fit on short rack as well. Fully adjustable angle, I have a second set for the other side.

It gives me the "new" Defender vibes. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s definitely not true competition for the Bronco.

I am a fan. It would be my first choice for the 2-door.

Like many other people here, I have rented Wranglers (always base model) in the past. I loved it, but always wished for a bit more elbow and cargo space. Bronco addressed my complains (space, steering, etc.) perfectly.

The gray accents on the First Edition may or may not have influenced my choice of Cactus Gray color.

@RoLyMa27 was there any damage to the frame in the end? Inquiring minds want to know.

I assume everyone in poor Nisssan are ok. G-wagen has a silly-looking skirt under rear bumper for that exact reason. I'd check frame and exhaust just in case. Could be more damage than it seems.

Speaking of the cargo boxes that fit perfectly pelican nailed it with BX series. BX80 + BX50 is exactly same width as BX135. I stack them on top of each other - its barely clear the speakers (sorry no picture handy at the moment).

Two (!) dampeners loaded with 10 lb each seem to be a good mitigating factor. Look at the test in this video:

I haven't watched whole hour video, perhaps this was mentioned - was a dampener (bag or something) on the recovery line when the shackle snapped?
