So we went to my dealer today to process our BB w/ mid package today. Sales manager states they aren't able to order a 22 BB w/o SAS. Haven't seen that on the forums as of yet.
But..... they had a 21 BB std pkg w/o SAS. Manager said we could get it on Jan 26 if we put $500 deposit down. Only problem It wasn't white like we wanted but I'm kind of digging the cactus gray.
So glad we at least know a firm date for our Bronco

Dealers. Oh brother. Assume everything that dealer says is suspect.

Maybe he was attempting to select the advanced 4x4 on the Big Bend because that would require the SAS package.

Otherwise, I think you got played.
I kind of felt suspicious of it also. But he did offer the 21 cactus gray at sticker which was $2k less than my order. Maybe he just wanted a SAS on the lot to add $10k adm

THIS. If you select Adv 4x4 it defaults to Sas in a BB. He probably just selects Adv 4x4 and doesn't pay attention to all the changes that makes. I'm thinking non malicious, just not well informed.

Could be true. This was his 5th order. So he wasn't very knowledgeable about them. Idk at least I have one waiting.

Personally I'd be a little skeptical. When dealers tell you you can't order something, it's because they're not thinking of selling it to you, they're thinking of selling it to somebody else. So when you go and pick it up and they charge you some huge ADM to force you to walk away, they have something they can sell at a higher price because it has Sasquatch.

Or maybe the deal is just an idiot... Either way makes me want to look for a different dealer.

He is selling you something he ordered already.
And despite what anyone thinks... it's not a particularly desirable configuration, so if it's sold, he gets to order a new mannequin... Hopefully something more desirable.

Not sure about the particularly desirable option, seems the BB was the model that was stated to be the most economical with the add ons if someone didn't want a full out offroad vehicle.
I don't have to have a lot of fluff or bling, the bronco itself is what I'm buying it for.
It they didn't have the BB mannequin and was willing to sell at sticker, I would have went somewhere else. They did have a base with 4" lift and 35's from 4WP but wanted 50k. Way more than I wanted.

I'll add my own wheels and 35's, I don't need them charging $5K for that what I can spend only $2k

Well yeah but you're forgetting a whole bunch. You get gears, 4A, the heavier duty front axle, and 5 35" tires + beadlockable rims.

You can't do all that for 2K.
