Front License plate blocking brake assist sensor

Getting an error message that my recently installed front license plate is blocking the break assist sensor - anyone else having this issue? The actual plate is no bigger than the temporary plate. Included 3 pics, last one with the trees in the background was with the original dealer plate, no issue.

just move the license plate then to a new location

Guessing you’re not using the license plate mount in the dealer installed location?

That's why you can't put it there.

Using the exact one - didnt move it. See pics i just added.

If the dealer installed it, take it back and have them not block the sensor (which is 100% covered by the plate)

That's why you can't put it there.

I thought it went on top of the bumper?

Its the same location as the dealer plates.
