Cooling seats

I was in my friends new defender and turned on the cooling seats. I got to thinking how nice that would feel with the top and doors off on a hot day. I wonder why Ford didn’t add that luxury? Is it due to potential water damage with an open cab?

That's ok, hell it was posted in July 2020, seems like a lifetime ago, I missed that whole thread myself.

No need to delete. It's good to point this out again every now and then. Cooling seats are one of my biggest wishes for MY22, since I'm a let res holder.

Right now, I'm planning on the MGV seats in the Badlands. But I'd give up the washout interior and upgrade to leather if that got me cooling seats.

Is that the thread where someone implied they were never going to get to visit their family again because without cooled seats their grandkids would die from heat exhaustion?

Because if so, I still have PTSD from that thread.

If they had cooling seats for '22, I'd make sure they'd bump mine to a '22.

If cooled seats were available I can only imagine they'd be in a super lux package considering a garage door opener is just plain lux.
